Charles Martin DDS & Lee Zamos DMD South Tampa

I have been a patient of Dr. Martin's office since 2000 and visit several times a year for cleanings/check-ups. He and his staff are highly trained professionals and in my view, their pricing is very reasonable given the consistent quality care I have received over these many years. Tracey has been my hygienist for some time and always does a very through job. I also appreciate their flexibility with scheduling and the A+ job Marilyn does with appointment reminders and timely follow-up. This is a very professionally run dental office using the latest technology.

I first visited Dr. Zamos in Isaaqua, WA. He was surprisingly gentle and thorough. I now live in San Francisco, and after visiting 2 new dentist offices there, I decided to fly to Tampa to see a dentist that I trust. Dr. Zamos fixed my broken tooth and provided me more insight into my dental health than any other office that I visited. Turns out, I did not need the expensive crown that the dentist in S.F. told me I needed. Dr. Zamos not only worked me into his schedule but saved me money as well. Most importantly I trust that he is telling me the truth and treating me fairly. I would strongly recommend Dr. Zamos to any of my friends and family. You would be hard pressed to find a more professional and gentle dentist. My tooth feels great.

I have been a patient with Dr. Charlie Martin for over 20 years, and I can say without hesitation that the care has always been exceptional. The consistency, professionalism, and genuine concern for patients over the decades is truly rare. From routine cleanings to more involved procedures, I have always felt comfortable, informed, and well cared for. Charlie and his team take the time to explain options, never rushes appointments, and approaches treatment with both skill and integrity. The staff is equally outstanding—friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming, which makes every visit a positive experience. It says a lot when you remain loyal to a dentist for more than two decades. I trust this practice completely and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for honest, high-quality dental care. BTW, his new dentist is amazing and incredibly talented!

Dr. Zamos fixed a cracked tooth and filling for me. I appreciated his conservative approach with trying to save my tooth. Dr. Zamos calmed by nerves by walking through each step of the process as he worked. I was delighted that he took pictures while he fixed my tooth, so he could show me his work when he was done. He was very compassionate and professional to make sure I was okay throughout the entire process. Dr. Zamos is very skilled at what he does. I had zero discomfort or pain during and after the procedure. I would highly recommend him as a dentist in general but also to those patients who get anxious during dental procedures. - Kyla F

I will first start off by saying that I have always had an immense fear of the dentist! Choosing the right dentist for me was extremely important and I am so happy I found this office. I had a full mouth restoration including deep cleaning, bleaching and finally nine veneers. The process was a long one but I wouldn't have had it any other way. First off you are greeted by the nicest group of people I have had the pleasure of meeting in any medical field, the waiting area is inviting and cozy. I sat down in a big comfy massage chair but I never turned it on because did I mention they have a massage chair in the waiting area? I am not used to this sort of thing. I haven't openly smiled in more years than I care to remember and I was dead set on finishing my goal with this office after my initial meeting. I had my first consultation, x-rays and conversation with Dr. Martin and his Staff. Dr. Martin is warm, inviting and has an amazing chairside manner I wasn't expecting. I felt like I was being cheered on by the entire staff to achieve the smile I always wanted. Now I will get to the part that absolutely blew me away! The pace and relaxation I felt while getting Novocain for the first time. I will be honest I have a needle phobia, worse than any drill at the office and I was very uneasy about that part. I was relieved to find that Dr. Martin and his staff were patient with my phobia and I didn't even know that I got the shots before my mouth started to numb up! They will put a topical gel to numb the spot that the injection will be placed and use aversion techniques to keep your mind at ease from any discomfort. I was so impressed that I thanked Dr. Martin for the best needle experience I had received. I came back for many visits, there was talk to possibly get implants so I did get a consultation next door at Dr. Wilson (also great) and I was relieved to find that they didn't think I needed them. The team work between the two doctors was fantastic and they never steered me wrong or made me feel that implant surgery was a must. I was also relieved to find out while numb for my first fillings that I didn't need any root canals! You don't have to worry that an office is trying to make money off of you because this one is looking out for your best interest. Dr. Martin put on some Willie Nelson Pandora radio before going to the drill and I just had a full sense of relaxation during the first major work on my cavities. I finished my restoration with two fillings, temporary veneers and then the final porcelain set a few weeks after the temps. To say I am happy with the work that this team has done is an understatement, I was absolutely shocked when I saw how amazing my new teeth looked. The staff were proud of the final result and they should be. I would fly out of state to visit this office, I am just happy I live so close by! If you are looking for a good dentist office and you were like me feeling scared and lost about what you should do, have a consultation with Dr. Martin and I guarantee those fears will melt away. I can only tell them thank you so much for making me feel whole again, my confidence is higher than I ever thought imaginable and the entire staff went above and beyond.
