Knight Dermatology Institute: A Forefront Dermatology Practice

I loved my experience here!!! Very accommodating to my anxiety surrounding doctor’s visits. I had about a million questions that were all answered in a way I understood. It’s not often I feel seen and heard fully at a doctors office but this interaction made me feel safe. It also helped that the doctor is a woman!! Loved everything about this moment and will be back!! Hopefully for good news 🫶

As a first-time patient, I am extremely satisfied with my experience. From the moment I arrived, the front desk staff greeted me warmly and were both professional and courteous. My nurse listened attentively, showed genuine empathy, and efficiently documented all of my concerns. Dr. I made me feel valued right from our initial interaction. He took my skin issues seriously, encouraged me to share my thoughts, thoroughly explained the underlying causes, and worked with me to create a treatment plan. I left feeling confident in the care and guidance I received. Initially, I was unsure if Dr. I had experience with Black skin, but he far exceeded my expectations. Thank you, Knight Dermatology, for providing such sincere and thoughtful care! I apologize for not recalling everyone’s names, but I truly appreciate each person who helped make my visit so positive.

Came to this facility because Dr. Iacobellis could see me at this location in short notice. Him & his staff are amazing, personable and accommodating! They squeeze me in the schedule right before my flight & made sure I was in and out on a timely manner, knowing that I had a flight to catch. Dr. Iacobellis and staff made me feel welcomed & I will fly back for any dermatology needs. He took really good care of me & explained everything in detail.

Made an appointment on October 3rd, went online, entered all my information, uploaded my Driver's license and my insurance card. Appointment scheduled for October 13th. Got to the front desk, gave my driver's license, then the front desk girl goes; Do you have an HMO insurance? I said, yes, it was uploaded and approved by your scheduler. She says; sorry about that, we dont take HMO insurance. I had to drive almost 45 min with rush hour traffic, just to be told; sorry we dont take your insurance, but you can do self pay, roughly $175 for your visit. What? My copay is $30, would've been nice if the scheduling staff did their job. Really frustrating, and feels like they were trying to get me to pay more out of pocket. Horrible mistake, and a bit "shady" business if you ask me. Oh, and they dont stop sending email and text reminders that I missed my appointment, even though they told me in person that day that they made a mistake. Seriously?

Dr. KNIGHT is a breath of the freshest air! His professionalism & demeanor is so very much appreciated. The down side is the "many" mistakes that young gal booking appts over phone, caused, was troublesome for me altho she was very sweet & took her time. I think & others like me as well from experience, too many medical offices today need to address the situation. This dis functionality causes the patient "time" & confusion & at times money as well. I hope this helps the doctor, whom I respect.
