Crescent Hill Dental Care

I've been a patient of crescent hill dental for years and they're always professional and friendly! Recently they were able to offer me an impromptu cleaning which was amazing for my schedule. I'd highly recommend them to my friends and family.

Nuanced post. Staff were friendly. They are responsive in the chat system which works great The dental assistant was friendly, the dentist himself didn't talk to me much. I was quite sad that I was referred to another surgeon but I guess that's the nature of the job. I wish more doctors and dentists were generalists, were not scared of litigation and that the threshold for referral were high.

Beware if you don’t have dental insurance. Everything here feels much more like a sales pitch than a dentist. They wanted to charge me for many unnecessary additional add-ons, which I had to keep pushing back to decline. They were kind enough to remove the cost of basic dental x-rays from my very large bill, but it gave me the feeling that the prices aren’t super set; they’re trying to get whatever they can out of people. In the end, they refused to give me a teeth cleaning without requiring me to pay for gingivitis laser therapy- my cleaning and gingivitis treatment ended up costing around $500. I don’t even have cavities, and they refused to give me basic cleaning care without additional add-ons. I would be more willing to continue as a patient if they made all their pricing and policies more transparent up-front. But from the very beginning, when I set up my appointment and asked for a detailed breakdown of pricing, I had been told I could come in for just a basic cleaning, and then when I came in for the scheduled cleaning they refused to do it unless I agreed to the additional gingivitis treatments. They assured me that my gums would be healthy and back on track, so I asked if I could come back in for a basic cleaning 6 months later. Initially they said yes, and then shortly before the appointment when I asked again, they said it would depend upon how their exam went on the day of my appointment (heavily suggesting that they may try to do additional x-rays, fluoride, and other treatments). I’m steering clear of this practice before they try to trap me into spending hundreds more, and I would encourage others to do the same.

The staff is super friendly and always greets you with a smile. They do a great job of cleaning my teeth and they always schedule me for my next appointment before I leave the office. The office is always very clean and the location is perfect.
