Overall the treatment plan was great and worked! Took a little longer than expected but it worked! Wait time wasn’t bad today. Honestly I can’t say I’ve had really long wait times for this location. The staff is always friendly and helpful. However, there is a problem with my personal information being leaked from this location. Had scam calls set appointment times. I informed the office. Haven’t had a problem since.

I normally have a great experience at the Southside Plaza location, so I really don't have any complaints. I do have a suggestion that the staff communicate better when it comes to verifying information per each insurance company. I drove 2 hours away for an appointment just to be told that my insurance would not cover a needed service when I verified from a different staff member prior to making the appointment. I wasn't upset at the staff, just sad that I wasn't able to get the necessary service. Otherwise, the Southside Plaza location has great staff that are willing to help in the best way they can.

I normally don’t leave reviews, but this experience was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. My cleaning appointment was canceled once before. When I came back for the rescheduled appointment, I waited almost 3 hours, only to be told it was canceled again and moved to another week. I explained that I was in pain and needed care, and one of the staff members responded in a very dismissive way, basically saying it didn’t matter. That was shocking and very disrespectful. I understand that scheduling issues can happen, but canceling multiple times and speaking to a patient in pain with no empathy is unacceptable. Patients deserve respect, communication, and basic professionalism. I hope management addresses this issue so other patients do not experience the same treatment.

I am so pleased with Dr Hoang's approach and touch. She lets you know exactly what to expect and I have never been more comfortable at a dentist. I have been going there over a year now and everyone is extremely professional and knowledgeable. I highly recommend!

I’m giving zero stars! But would only allow me to give one. My experience with your practice was excruciating, unkind And unprofessional. The only exception was one dental assistant at the Southside Plaza location, who actually showed some semblance of empathy. I came in on Tuesday 12/16 in terrible pain. The dentist confirmed I had a cracked filling, but was unable to do anything until 12/31! I called your customer scheduling department and they were able to get me in on Wednesday 12/17 at another location. That morning they called and told me they would not be able to take me because they would not perform a procedure after another established dentist Did a plan. Mind you this was not my established dentist. This was my very first visit. At this point, I was in excruciating pain and I asked the woman on the phone what I was supposed to do that this was an emergency and I needed help. She chose to hang up on me! So I called back the original dentist and begged and pleaded that I could get in. They scheduled the appointment but again refused to help me because they didn’t have time. It was then that the only kind dental assistant finally gave me The VCU dental school emergency walk-in clinic, which ultimately ended up in me having an emergency extraction of my tooth! The dental STUDENTS, We’re able to evaluate that the tooth was cracked to the bone and an infection had started. I emphasize that these were students, along with their instructors, that seem to have a better knowledge and grasp on patient care and empathy than a seasoned dentist. I suggest you do some sensitivity training with your staff. I will never return to your practice and I will tell everyone who ever asks me to never ever go there.
