I had been looking for to this appointment to have a "medical grade" manicure and pedicure. However after my service today I will have to give a one star. 1st i did not receive the service I booked which was a pamper me manicure and pedicure. I ended up getting the essential manicure and pedicure, and honestly I barely received that. My cuticles on my manicure was not cut down. On their website the manicure is described as starting with a pleasant soak, which did NOT occur. When asked if they no longer do the soak they stated they did not. So why have something on your website you no longer offer? The nail tech acted as though it was a burned to do my nails and toes. She did recommend an outside product which was the only thing I felt was good in the whole service. On their site it's stated they offer gel polish but at arrival after I picked my color thst was available I was told they don't do gel polish. For this to be a medical grade salon it was worst thst any"regular" nail salon I've been too. Save your money and go to a regular nail salon, just tell the nail tech if you have any medical problems so they can address them. I will not be back after this. My wife was able to get me $150 gift card here and I will not be back to use the rest of it. I am disappointed she wasted her money. I typically never leave reviews however this service was NOT what I expected at all. The salon is also not clean and looks to be disorganized. The equipment is really dusty and the area is not clean. For this to me medical I had higher expectations of the cleanliness. Also my cuticles as still not cut down and their is build up skin. This was NOT a relaxing moment.

I have been trying to get back to this place for 4 years. Finally I had my pedicure done on Thursday. I can’t pronounce her name but it stated with a S almost like Stacy, but she did a wonderful job on my feet. Glad to be back and able to talk to someone who speaks English and will not get a gel pedicure when I said I don’t want Gel.

This Pedicure was the most enjoyable. The staff was pleasant and conversational. Very gentle and accommodating. Teaching my young man that it is important to have self-care.

I've been a patron of this business for about two years. I changed to this salon when I was pregnant. I valued safety after I realized that other salons did not actually sterilize their instruments (they used the steripack envelopes to appear clean but didn't actually run them through the autoclave sterilizer). I have been to five different nail technicians and each one was skilled in removing ingrown nails. I had to learn to schedule ahead like every other doctor appointment because there are no walk-ins or last minute appointments. I have to prioritize my safety and overall health now over social events but it is worth it. I have referred a family member with diabetes to prevent infections who continues to use their services. I think this place is unique and should be utilized by those who are serious about their health and do not have strict scheduling requirements. As far as cancellations, well, as a Healthcare provider, I know sometimes we disappoint our clients when unforeseen events occur. I have come to expect issues to arise everywhere in our current lives, but within two years of monthly visits, they have rescheduled me once. I will continue to go back to the salon.

Until recently I have enjoyed getting my pedicures at this spa, which is conveniently located in the Johnson-Willis Hospital campus. Although somewhat cramped for space, it is clean, bright and efficient. However, my most recent visit was less than satisfactory. While I did receive very good personal service, the staff spent too much time gossiping about other staff members, patients and the salon's music. I feel that such behavior lacks professionalism and hope that staff and management refocus their efforts on providing customers with outstanding service. Eye rolling, unkind comments and bad attitudes are best left in middle school.
