All the team members at Alchemy are seasoned professionals who care deeply about meeting their client's needs, especially those with Post Traumatic Stress. I have had the opportunity to receive Ketamine Treatment as well as medication management from the clinic, and have had nothing but positive experiences. Working with their psych NP, Reid (Nancy Byrne) has been truly life changing, as she picked up on a very treatable medical condition that many professionals before had missed (including myself), and once it was addressed it resulted in a HUGE quality of life improvement. I am forever grateful.

Dr. Frederick is really solid and actually cares a lot about his patients, taking the time to get to know them, listen to them, and guide them through integration of their journeys. Reid, their NP, and Lauren, their RN are also extremely helpful, and have the same kind and soothing demeanors as Dr. Frederick. I’ve been to other practices that were more “in-and-out”; Alchemy is a totally different experience. The setting of the place is relaxing, and whatever $ spent is worth it. Not every single person responds the same way to ketamine, so it’s not a guaranteed, one-size-fits-all solution, but when facing severe (sometimes medication-resistant) depression, every little bit helps. I’ve found Alchemy and ketamine to be part of that every-little-bit; not the only solution needed (therapy is critical, and traditional medications can help immensely for some) but another helpful, insight-generating medicine that has helped me along my journey. If you’re interested in ketamine therapy, I’d recommend Alchemy 100% to give you the best chance of having a successful and comfortable round of treatments.

Alchemy Wellness covers all these bases. If you are considering this treatment, you’re ready to deal with and move beyond the blockers (I used to get stuck in flight-fright-freeze). Do your due diligence and feel comfortable believing the reviews of Alchemy Wellness. Maybe treatment is not fully covered by your insurance, but you owe it to yourself to check out this option. I know with 100% confidence that I’ll pay now, or I’ll pay later (more like never-ending paying over what could be decades—NO thank you) so I found a way to make it happen.
