Great dentist, great hygienist (Annie!), always friendly and welcoming staff. After not going to a dentist for years I started going to Dr Blackwood maybe 14 years ago and highly recommend to everyone. I have had a few old fillings and crown repaired, some whitening, and my regular every 6 month cleanings now keeping my teeth maintenance minimal and care free. Finding and choosing a dentist can be intimidating but Dr Blackwood and his staff have always made visits easy and welcoming. They use current tech, have easy scheduling, have their own yearly coverage plan option if you dont have insurance, and just good honest professional work. Keep up the great work!

I had to go into an emergency dentist to have a tooth pulled. The guy told me I Needed a bone graph. I went to Doctor Blackwood and he explained to me I never needed it. He was extremely gentle and understanding. His staff is fantastic! Best dentist I’ve ever been to, and I’ve been to a lot! Highly recommend!

Well hello there, I have attended Blackwood for a long while now. I bet it has been 10 plus year in fact. Anyway, I have never had a bad experiece, love the place, always easy and lets face it, people do not like going to the dentist. But this place is good, if it is a Necessary evil, which it is. At least go to a great place.

My family and I have been seeing Dr. Blackwood for about 15 years. He is personable and makes each visit stress-free and comfortable . I used to struggle with other dentists because my face would get numb, but not my teeth, making fillings painful. When I told Dr. Blackwood, he looked at my X-rays, explained why this was happening, and made the necessary adjustments. He’s the only dentist where I’ve had cavity fillings without that chair-gripping sensitivity. Additionally, my son, who is on the autism spectrum, had an hard time sitting in the dentist chair when he was younger, even for a simple check-up. Dr. Blackwood and his staff were incredibly patient and compassionate, making the experience calm and manageable for him.
