David O. Smith DMD Family Dentistry

David Smith Family Dental is my favorite dentist, and the best dentist's office I have ever been to in my life! The staff is so incredibly nice, genuine, and patient. They really care, and they are not rushing! That is so appreciated in a medical office that is typically uncomfortable for people, including myself. I refer everyone here in SLC. When I moved away, I was so sad to lose the office, and I came right back when I moved back to SLC. The last thing I'll say is that they have the BEST dental hygienists I've ever encountered. My dental hygiene has improved tremendously since learning from them and getting their encouragement. The only downside of being a patient here is that I now have SUPER high standards for dentists.

There is an underlying thought process that going to the dentist is not a great experience, hurtful, with many fingers in your mouth & on occasion, you may get drenched as they clean your teeth. Not so much! For over 35 years, I have been blessed to have had the privilege of being a patient of 'Dr. Smith'. Why is it a privilege? Well, his work is highly professional, as is his staff; plus, they make the time you spend in his chair completely enjoyable. Correct, they are interested & care about you as a person, plus your TEETH. A FIVE-STAR & if not more.. ~Lj

Dr. Smith, his assistant, and hygienist are all wonderful. They are all so caring and gentle in everything they do. From X-rays, to cleanings, and all dental work, they don't rush the process and truly take the time to ensure a pain free and no anxiety visit. Almost makes me "like" going to the dentist.😉

I absolutely love Dr. David O. Smith and his entire staff! They’ve been taking care of my family for many, many years, and they truly feel like family. They are honest, gentle, and consistently go above and beyond to make every visit comfortable. It’s rare to find a dental team you can trust so completely. I’m so grateful for the wonderful care they’ve given us over the years. Highly recommend!

Another great experience at this office! Everyone is so friendly and takes such good care, from front desk, reception and scheduling to the hygienists and Dr. Smith. The best dental care I’ve experienced in Salt Lake; thorough, competent, and really caring about your comfort. Recommend them any chance I get, I’ve gotten my partner and mother to start going here.
