Dr. Yates and his staff are nothing short of amazing. When you walk into his office it feels more esthetic vs medical it's beautiful. I had a medical breast reduction surgery done 18 years ago. With time and a pregnancy I was in need of some reconstruction. I consulted other plastic surgeons prior and Dr. Yates was the only one who listened to my specific needs. His nursing staff was kind, listened to me and helped me feel great about my decisions. The 3D imaging they used during my consults was so helpful in determining what size and projection would be best for me. I loved being able to have an idea of what they would look like on my body before surgery. He performed a scar revision from my previous surgery with a lift and a mini Motiva breast implant. The greatest thing was I experienced NO PAIN!! I couldn't believe it. The technique and skill he uses allowed me to recover better than expected. I had to remind myself not to lift over 10lbs during recovery. If you're looking for the best plastic surgeon in Utah Dr. York Yates is your guy. The thing that really sets Dr Yates apart from other surgeons (in my opinion) is his technique. I am 1 month post op from a drainless tummy tuck with lipo, an anchor lift with implants, and fat grafting to my hip dips. I researched these procedures for years, probably looked at a thousand before/afters, and familiarized myself with the healing process and possible complications. With all my research, I was fully expecting to be super swollen (particularly with the tummy tuck) and to have very obvious, raised incisions that would take a long time to smooth out and heal. I also expected to be in severe pain during the first few weeks. I am happy to say that I experienced none of those things, and I fully attribute that to Dr. Yates’ drainless tummy tuck technique and beautiful work. The first time I took off my compression garment and bra, I literally started bawling because I could not believe how incredible I already looked. My stomach was completely flat, my waist was snatched, and my incisions were covered in neatly glued down steri-strips. When I took the steri strips off at 3wpo, I was astonished to see how smooth and thin my scars were. I anticipate that they are going to heal beautifully. Dr Yates also provided me with several medications for the week after surgery that helped me so much. I didn’t even take the narcotic for more than a day or two because I didn’t need it. I had gabapentin for nerve pain, celebrex for inflammation, and Valium for muscle spasms. I also had an antibiotic to prevent infection. His sweet care coordinator Lindsay also provided me with a nausea patch the day of surgery when I told her how worried I was about throwing up. My breast lift scars are healing so well and have already lightened quite a bit. I got 340cc motiva Demi round implants UTM. They are settling beautifully and I already love them. I had significant asymmetry before and Dr. Yates was able to correct it during the lift. All in all, I’m very happy that I had Dr. Yates do my surgery. It’s been completely life changing for me. It’s been 10 years since I’ve been able to look in the mirror and love what I see. Sometimes I still can’t even believe that this is my body; it feels so surreal. Looking forward to a new, more confident chapter in my life.

Dr. York Yates and his team was wonderful and the whole experience was amazing! He really knows what he is doing and gave me the perfect boobs I have been wanting for so long! I couldn’t be more happy with the way they look and the things we chose that fit my body best! Also Lindsey was so helpful and always responded to my text through the app so quickly! I am happy to share my very positive experience with Dr. Yates. I just had my three week post op appointment for a full tummy tuck and breast implant replacement from a previous surgeon 20 years ago. All through the consultation process, Dr. Yates listened to my goals without having his own agenda. He was very careful to explain the procedures and expected outcomes and he and his staff were quick to respond to any questions I had along the way. The actual procedures went very smoothly, I had a great experience with the anesthesiologist who also explained what to expect in great detail and did not have any negative effects from the anesthesia. My recovery has been easier than I expected and I am happy to report I did not need to use any narcotics. I am very happy with the result of my two procedures and I am frankly shocked at how good my tummy looks already. I highly recommend Dr. Yates. My only regret was not discovering him sooner!
