In May 2025, I underwent a surgical removal on my hairline at this office. It has taken me a long time to write this review because I usually only leave positive feedback, but I feel it’s important to share this experience so others are informed. Dr. Hu performed my procedure. Before beginning, she mentioned that she didn’t like operating in that area because it tends to bleed. Within seconds of the first incision, I was told to apply pressure to a towel on my head and Dr. Hu left the room. Very quickly, the situation escalated—I was completely drenched in blood and alone before Dr. Hu came back with help. I wish this were an exaggeration; there was blood on my body and even on the walls. It was absolutely terrifying. Several nurses rushed into the room, and one even remarked that she had never seen Dr. Hu that concerned before. Shortly after that, the doctor left the room, and I never saw her again. She never checked on me afterward, which was deeply upsetting. This is the short version of a very distressing experience. I had to return multiple times, including once because stitches were forgotten during my removal appointment. The scar is significant and took months to heal to a point where it looked even somewhat acceptable. Ultimately, the reason it took me so long to write this review is because I was genuinely traumatized. I never felt cared for as a patient. There was no follow-up, no concern shown after the incident, and no sense of accountability. The next day, I called to request an incident report, as I felt something went wrong. I was told no, and instead advised to go to the emergency room if I experienced complications—which is exactly why I wanted the incident documented. That response felt extremely concerning. I will never return to this facility. Please be cautious when booking surgical procedures here. Looking back, I wish I had taken more time to research other options.

I give this office 5 stars because the front desk staff is truly wonderful. They are always kind and professional, even when patients treat them poorly—they never lose their smile. Special thanks to the three amazing ladies at the front desk: Ciera, Felicia, and Andrea. I also appreciate how the cosmetic department steps in to help when the front desk gets busy.

Jose was excellent! He greeted us, was so friendly and accommodating, and answered all of the questions that we had before we could even ask them. He made sure that my partner was comfortable through the procedure. Dr. Hu was very friendly as well and thorough. We will be back for sure!

They did a great super job on basal cell skin cancer ♋ under my right eye 👁 Aug 2018 and I hardly have a scar. Dr Hu is the BEST. Now they are gonna do Mohs surgery on the left side of my elderly dads nose next month in March and it will be Dr Hu. They are Very accommodating to my dads schedule 📅 and to ours as we live in Vail . They really work with U and answer their 📱 which is really important. We had to leave the place where my dad was getting his Derm care because they would NOT answer their phones 😒 and they would NOT accommodate my dads schedule at ALL not ours nor let me be in the room with him during mom's surgery on the top of his head. I explained that he is very hard of hearing very old 90 plus and has Dementia and cannot answer questions well or process info very well anymore. They didn't CARE snd were very RIGID and inflexible and RUDE so they LOST our business and we Dumped them! Specialists is a longer drive for us but Worth it. Thank u Spevialists and Dr HU u ROCK 🎸 in my book !
