Cloud Nine Flotation

I recently visited Cloud Nine Flotation and while I appreciated the kindness and warmth of the host, the overall experience didn’t align with my expectations based on previous float tank visits. The setting is unique—located within a modified residence. The environment has a very personal, home-like, and spiritual feel, which some may enjoy, but it wasn’t what I was looking for. Before the session, I was invited to sit and talk, which turned into a lengthy conversation covering float philosophy, intent-setting, and more. While well-meaning, this delayed my session by about 20 minutes and caught me off guard, as I expected to start floating closer to my appointment time. During the float, the lights in the room unexpectedly turned on and I heard the door open. I later learned my session had been extended to accommodate another client using the shared shower, but this wasn’t communicated beforehand. The sudden return of light and sound disrupted the experience and raised some concerns about privacy. While I trust the intentions were good, more transparency and planning could help preserve the peaceful, private atmosphere most people seek from floating. The float tank itself was functional, though there was a slight odor I hadn’t noticed at other locations. After my session, I had to wait about 10 minutes to shower, as there’s only one shared shower available for all clients. In summary, the host is clearly passionate and caring, and I think those seeking a more intimate, spiritual float experience might really enjoy Cloud Nine.

It's a Mind exploring adventure. The staff was very informative. Facility is clean and organized. They have all kinds of packages for floating. After my time was up we visited and discussed future float options. Music and frequency. There is an assortment of spiritual items for sale, to take home too. I will be back for more time out time in the tank.. Thank You guys.

Very cool experience and extremely relaxing. The staff was very kind and helpful, explaining things before my float. It took about half of my time for me to get comfortable and used to it but the second half was amazing. I felt more relaxed than after a massage or other relaxing experiences I've had. I am excited to go back for a second time now that I understand what to expect.

I went for my first float on Mother's Day and it was better than I anticipated. I have fibromyalgia and have a few other health issues thanks to it. Constant pain is the order of the day. Kalyn was super helpful, very understanding, and compassionate. After my float...I honestly have no words...I am still feeling amazing. My pain level is less than my normal (my "base" pain level is usually a constant 3-4)...when I left, I was pain free and stayed so for several hours...today (it's been almost 30 hrs since I left), I am JUST starting to hit that 3 pain level...definitely has made all the difference in how my week has started...can't wait for my next float!!

This was the second float I ever experienced and the first float at Cloud Nine. Having neck issues, it took about 10 minutes for my neck to relax but the head support really helped. I left feeling relaxed and grounded. I had less pain too! I felt really good and Kalyn was lovely. I look forward to returning.
