Comfort Zone

The woman that works there is horrible she fell asleep during my foot massage the first time I went. I kept having to wiggle my feet to wake her. I told myself I would never go back. About a year later my friend wanted to go for her birthday so we went. I told them I wanted two 60 minute foot massages. At the 45 minute mark my massage ended because a scheduled appointment came in, my friend was able to finish her massage. I went to pay and the man did not understand that I wanted to do a 20% tip he pushed over the credit card machine to me and there were 2 buttons to push neither were for a specific tip amount so I told him this is not right but he didn’t understand and was trying to get to his next client so I just pushed a button it gave a $13 tip and then he was trying to argue with me and I couldn’t understand him and he walked away. He started talking to the woman that works there about it during his massage and was very loud. When my friend was done the woman came up to her saying I didn’t leave a good tip. I told the woman I tried to leave 20% but he couldn’t understand. She took me to the register, had the machine so I could put a specific amount which I added the additional amount to make 20% but she tried to embarrass me to my friend that I didn’t tip enough. I will not be back.

Asked for a 20 min seat massage was pushed into a 45 min seat massage by the lady working there. She walked away to talk to another customer in the middle of my massage. She spent more time patting me than actually massaging. Told her numerous times what I wanted and she kept insisting on what she wanted. Not worth the time or money. Not to mention she was belching during the service and not once said excuse me or apologize.

The Comfort Zone in the mall at the Marriott in Birmingham was the worst massage ive ever had! Do not waste your time or money. Absolutely terrible!

Stopped in today and got a 10 minute massage. It was great. Luc did a fabulous job. I hold tension in my neck and he got at my knots. If you only have 10 minutes, that's plenty of time. Don't pass it up. He's efficient and did a lot of good work. They are very nice and they even give you a water at the end. Great customer service. The place is very clean and comfortable.

Update: I went back on Veterans day 2023. WOW!! Something has changed. It was amazing. Their prices have went up some but well worth it. My wife and I got the table massage today. As I was paying the $70 for our 30 min massage the "tip option" populated. The massage was not very good today so I tipped $5. The gentleman looked at the tip amount and said "is that all". I was floored. He then spoke in his language in a disgusted tone to the one serving my wife. Maybe this was a bad day for them. Normally they do a great job. Today was not the day.
