I am writing a review to RAVE about the staff at Mod Dermatology. I am not a patient but when a package for me was mysteriously delivered to their office, their team called me and then drove to my home (8 miles away) to make sure the package made it to me safely! Amazing people, helping neighbors...this is what makes Omaha so great!! Thank you Mod Dermatology!! :)

I saw Dr. Tina Kinsley last week who diagnosed me with shingles on my face. Dr. Kinsley was so helpful during all stages of my shingles and very much appreciate her compassion and medical expertise. Highly recommend her and the MOD Dermatology team!

Amy has been treating me for five years. I have a painful, chronic dermatologic condition that I will have for the rest of my life. This was my third opinion and the first place that actually took me seriously and gave me options beyond steroids and prayers. Their staff exhausts their resources when it comes to finding treatments that work and finding the most cost-effective way to obtain those treatments. I don't know what I would do without their team. The vast majority of the physicians, nurses, and staff working here are the kindest and smartest medical professionals I've worked with.

Avoid MOD Dermatology – Disappointing Experience and Questionable Practices My visit to MOD Dermatology on Frances Street in Omaha was deeply frustrating and left me regretting my choice. The practice’s focus seems heavily skewed toward securing payments, rather than delivering quality care. Upon arrival I was required to pay $800 upfront based on vague cost estimates, with no clear breakdown or effort to verify my insurance coverage. This lack of transparency felt highly misleading. Additional charges quickly escalated my bill to over $1,600, yet the treatment provided was rushed and completely ineffective - my skin condition remains unchanged. When I reached out for follow-up support, my concerns were brushed off with curt, unhelpful responses, leaving me feeling dismissed and undervalued as a patient. The front desk staff was unprofessional and rude prioritizing payment policies over basic courtesy. Asking questions about my bill or care felt like an inconvenience to them, which only added to my frustration. This experience left me out a significant amount of money, with no resolution to my issue and a sense that profit was the priority over patient well-being. I strongly recommend seeking a dermatologist who values transparency, communication and genuine care. My visit to MOD Dermatology was a costly disappointment and I would not return.

Very upset, just aheads up if you have not Met your deductible they will make you pay for the whole appointment upfront before you’re checked in, And THEN they run it through insurance if there’s anything left over, they will send you a refund ! It would’ve been nice to have been told that on the phone when making the appointment! I’m so glad I took time off work to go to appointment and then end up leaving! Such a waste of time !!
