I hate to be that guy that just reviews a place like everyone else does but when they’re right, they’re right. I had a very painful cracked tooth. The dentist was very caring and thoughtful and his bedside manner was amazing. He seemed professional and very knowledgeable. The facility was the finest I’ve ever seen. Very modern and clean. Every employee that helped me there was extremely nice. For such a traumatic day in my life, they made it a lot easier. The dentist pulled my very stubborn tooth with grace and skill. In fact, he had to tell me that it was already pulled because I didn’t know it. The entire process from start to finish was pleasant and never once did I not feel safe or cared for. I give this place. It’s employees and my experience there a 10 out of 10. The only negative thing I could say was why did I call so many other places before this one. My fault, not there’s. Oh, and I didn’t mention I called at like 7:30 in the morning and they said they could get me in at 8:30. I said would 10 be OK they said absolutely. If I ever have another emergency dental procedure this is the only place I’m gonna go. And thank you doctor Alex. Not just for doing such an amazing job, but also for being very nice and approachable. I can see why you’re doing so well. When someone’s very good at what they do and they treat their customers with respect and they genuinely care, there’s just no way to go but up. Thank you again!

I originally came to Des Moines Emergency Dentist with concerns about a tooth and saw Dr. Alex. He was extremely informative and took the time to walk me through all of my options, along with the risks of each. I decided to go with a crown and was able to have it completed the same day. Through the entire process, Dr. Alex and his entire team were amazing to work with. They took great care to ensure I was comfortable and explained every step of what they were doing. The staff was very upfront and transparent about pricing, insurance, and financing options, which I really appreciated. The office itself is stunning, and all of the equipment is modern and state-of-the-art. Overall, Des Moines Emergency Dentist is a top-tier practice with an expert team that truly prioritizes patient comfort while quickly addressing dental issues. I will absolutely be returning and would highly recommend them to friends and family.

I had tooth pain over the weekend and Des Moines Emergency Dentist was there to help! I was pretty nervous before coming in since I usually get anxious about dental visits, but as soon as I walked in, everyone was so welcoming and kind. The team made me feel comfortable right away, and any nerves I had completely disappeared. Dr. Alex took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I understood what was going on and explained things to me in a way that I understood. You can tell he genuinely cares about helping people and wants every patient to feel at ease. The office is beautiful and open, with a calm, relaxing vibe — honestly, it doesn’t even feel like a dental office, more like a spa. The chairs are super comfortable, the lighting and music are relaxing, and they even have headphones and shows to watch, which helped me stay calm the whole time. The technology here is amazing. They use a 3D X-ray that was super easy and quick, and they even have equipment that allows them to make same-day crowns right in the office. Everything was efficient, precise, and way less stressful than I expected. I was so impressed that they can do so much same-day treatment right here in Des Moines and Urbandale. If you’re someone who usually gets anxious about going to the dentist, this is the place to go. I felt cared for from start to finish, and now I actually look forward to coming back for my regular visits.

Dr. Alex did such an amazing job! They got me in very quickly and were upfront about costs/payment plans for my emergency visit. He was knowledgeable and explained everything he did or planned on doing. They made sure they took the time to care for me and did not make me feel rushed at all. I felt comfortable knowing that I was in good hands and that the whole team was there to help. Recovery was amazing and I could simply text them if I had any questions or concerns afterwards. I am so glad I found this place and would recommend it to anyone!

I drive by here every day on the way to work and always thought, hmm, that's a great idea to have a place available in case of emergency. Life happens on weekends, too! Well, today I had the occasion to have to call them up for an appointment for a temporary crown that came off. Bam! Got an appointment within the next hour and a half, filled out my paperwork online and was in the door at 9 and out the door by 945. Dr. Alex and his staff were spot on, friendly and professional, and were very welcoming and understanding. Two thumbs up all the way!
