Dr. Carlisle was simply amazing, along with the entire care team I had. (Special shout out to Rachel and Brooke, the best nurses ever!) From the first consultation til surgery, and the last check ups, everything was super professional, all my questions were answered in detail. And i was put at ease throughout each step. I can truly tell Dr. Carlisle loves his work; not just from the medical side, but the "art" of it as well. I would give Dr. Carlisle and his team 10 stars, but only 5 are allowed. I would absolutely go back to Koch and Carlisle for services in the future. Highly recommend.

My surgical journey with Dr. Michael Carlisle was anything but straightforward. It felt like every “rare but possible” complication in the fine print decided to show up for me. In the wrong hands, this could have been a disaster. It was not. Dr. Carlisle responded quickly, confidently, and without hesitation. When fear crept in, he and his incredibly competent staff steadied me and talked me off the ledge more than once. My immune system went into overdrive, and my healing fell far outside the normal range. I was not the textbook case. Yet he never minimized what was happening or dismissed my concerns. He adjusted quickly, treated decisively, reassured me, and stayed fully engaged from start to finish. What amazes me most is this: despite everything my body threw at the process, my scars are shockingly well healed. They look incredible. That is not luck. That is skill and precision. There is an artistry to his work that feels rare. I had to trust the process and believe in his talent, and he delivered. Surgery always carries risk. Living through the rare side of those risks is something else entirely. If you want someone steady under pressure, technically exceptional, and genuinely invested in his patients, Dr. Carlisle is that physician. I will always be grateful that I had that level of talent and competence on my side. He and his staff literally changed my life.

I’ve have to share another incredible experience that I’ve had at a Koch and Carlisle Plastic Surgery and Spa. I had my second laser treatment with Emily today. I can’t say enough about how amazing she’s been throughout this process. The treatments were intense and required some significant down time as well as special aftercare. She walked me through the entire process, from the actual treatment to the specific aftercare instructions. She even reached out to me after my appointment after hours to check on me and to see if I had any additional questions. I also want to give a big shoutout to Brenda who helped prep me for the procedure. She was so kind and personable and made me feel like I wasn’t just another patient. I cant recommend Emily and the entire team enough! If you’re looking for the best of the best when it comes to laser treatments or surgeries, Koch and Carlisle Surgery and Spa is the best hands down!
