I had an early appointment this morning, greatly appreciated the people welcoming me in for my very fast exam by Dr D and her assistant. I have been working with the Dr for several years and since my first appointment and care by her I have been very grateful for her time and discovery of my skin cancer.

About a year and a half ago I had a skin related concern and was referred to another dermatology office. My family has a history of skin cancer and I grew up during a time when we were always out in the sun and didn’t think about protection so concerns were real. After waiting a month, With no response, I called and they told me they were too backed up to even respond to the referral. So I withdrew that request and asked family for recommendations. Ducharme Dermatology was highly recommended so I called and although they were making appointments out a month or two, they were empathetic and realized my concern, putting me on a cancellation wait list. I was able to get in a week later and was treated for my initial concern and at this same appointment Dr Ducharme saw something she suspected to be a concerning spot on my face. She did a biopsy and tests confirmed the cancerous area. I went back soon after for the Mohs procedure to fully remove it. I have been back over the past 18 months for other concerning spots and Dr Ducharme and her staff have always been very receptive to my questions and have given me thorough checks and care. This recent visit was an annual check and as expected I received a thorough check and all my questions and concerns were answered. Definitely would recommend the office to anyone with skin concerns.
