6 months ago I had a botched microblading, and I was horrified by the results. I called Clean Slate to see what I needed to do to have them removed and they made sure to let me know that I needed to wait 6 months to reduce any skin or hair follicle damage. So, I patiently waited. I met with Jessica yesterday to start the process of removing them. She was very thorough with all explanations of the process. We even discussed potential reshaping on the next appointment depending on how the final healing turns out after the first session. I felt really good about having more than one option that I wasn't expecting. She had a very light hand with the laser and was super quick. Today I have very little redness, absolutely no pain, and these brows are already 50% lighter than they started out. I'm looking forward to my next session in 6 weeks to see what we can accomplish. Just left from Clean Slate to have a few tattoos removed. I started the process of them getting removed many years ago but I got busy with life and now I’m ready to finish this process. I’ve shopped around and wasn’t too happy with the prices I was quoted. For example, I have a dime size tattoo by my eye, actually it’s smaller than a dime, then I have six letters on my neck both in a baby blue color. One tattoo place quoted me 3,000$ until tattoo gone, but what if it was gone in two sessions?? Anyway, I came here to say, I’m very happy with the service I received with Clean Slate. Kenny was super gentle and kind but very professional. The office area and rooms are very clean, tho I do not look forward to my next session, I will be back to finish my tattoo removal process. Thank you Clean Slate for taking care of ya girl!

Jason and Jessica are both amazing and the best. Great customer service, my first session was in 9/23 without any resolution. Due to advancements and commitment to serve their customers I started over with my first session today...I'll update when we're complete finished!! Thank you both for your dedication to your customers.

I am impressed with my first appointment and look forward to seeing my results. I had laser removal done by a different provider and Clean Slate is superior by comparison.

**update** The new full owners, Kenny and Jessica Nulph are working hard to reverse damage and right wrongs done to clientele like myself by the previous business partner named in my original review. They reached out to me and have offered to continue services. They have scheduled sessions they will comp and we will adjust the quote. This is very generous considering the amount of harm and the hit that their business took due to the actions of their previous business partner. As a family member of small business owners, I know how bad of a hit businesses can take from embezzlement schemes from trusted business partners and poor reviews following. Their new facility is up and running and Jessica was very kind, professional and informative of the process and procedure. Her care and after care procedure information shared was much more in depth than what was originally experienced by Brian and Meredith. So, if you experienced similar treatment and deceit like I did, please consider giving Clean Slate another chance. They are under all new ownership in a new building and offer a large variety of services in addition to tattoo removal. They are running a true professional outfit here. Original review: A little under a year ago I was getting laser removal from Brian, he no showed to a couple appointments and just quit responding. This was at the Indianola location. I was looking forward to continuing sessions at the West Des Moines location since it would be a 10 minute drive versus the 50 minute drive I was making to Indianola. I had paid up front for removal by Brian Marks and Meredith Doyle and now just have a partially removed tattoo and out the money spent for treatment. The laser removal works and was making progress, just disappointed in the unprofessional ghosting.
