Harlan & Steinhoff Dermatology Group

I have been going to Harland & Steinhoff Dermatology for several years and I am pleased with their services on me. Last week Dr. Steinhoff removed cancer cell from a left ear. I was impressed with her professionalism and kindness. I usually see Amanda Van Wink and she too does good work. I am thankful she found this cancer so it could be treated. Dr. Harland was my dermatologist and he also is excellent. I totally trust their work.

Everyone I've spoken to who worked here was rude and condescending and the doctor Amanda was awful, no one explained any side effects to me, the person I spoke to on the phone(the manager Jennifer) was extremely sarcastic and behaved like it was silly to expect a doctor to inform patients of side effects, and everyone blatantly denied that the medication shot I received here could have made me sick, even though the symptoms appeared on the 20 minute drive home after the appointment, and explicitly said it must be something else besides the shot. I'm trying to figure out what to do about the illness I'm still suffering from and by denying that the shot caused it, they are preventing me from getting adequate help, as I am not a doctor and clearly don't know what to do in this situation. Disappointed in the behavior from everyone here. Sorry this review is all over the place I am still very ill from the shot. Edit: the woman I spoke to on the phone(the manager Jenifer) at this office also told me the shot I received was the same as an antihistamine which lead to me not taking my antihistamine last night and getting sicker!! It turns out the shot was NOT the same, or even similar to an antihistamine! THIS DOCTORS OFFICE GIVES OUT MEDICAL MISINFORMATION!! Second Edit: the response from the office to this review was a poor attempt to save face, when I reached out to discuss the issue I was met with nothing but endless voicemail boxes. Clearly no one is ACTUALLY willing to resolve this issue. Why would you say you want to "regain my trust" and then ignore my attempts to reach out? I'm still sick from the shot 10 days later, and have still received no help!

Amanda Van is incredibly kind and understanding. She takes the time to answer any questions you have about your procedure and ensures you feel comfortable throughout the process. She’s patient, thorough, and truly cares about her patients. The front desk staff is also very welcoming and friendly. I highly recommend this place

I always get great care at Harlan + Steinhoff Dermatology; from beginning to end of my appointment. The gals at the front desk are always cheerful and helpful. Dr. Harlan is thorough and takes time for any questions I may have. He always has the best plan for me and my health. His assistants are the best and all are very knowledgeable, professional and kind. I would recommend Harlan + Steinhoff Dermatology to anyone seeking to find the best care.

Doctor Steinhoff & Erin are rock stars. They fully explained the next steps in the treatment process. Progress has been made in my treatment and I am extremely pleased. My whole experience with Harlan & Steinhoff has been great!!!
