Dr. McGehee is a wonderful dentist/periodontist across the board! I had implants & a tooth pulled. What I appreciated the MOST about the entire process, was the time & expertise he took, extremely detailed in every way. His staff were all so very knowledgeable, kind and friendly. Truely, the BEST.

I cannot put into words how thankful I am for everyone at Mountaineer Periodontics. I had a dental emergency during the holidays. I have extreme anxiety when it comes to dental procedures. The care and kindness each person gave was calming and comforting.

Nine months ago after my first appointment I left a wonderful review which I have now deleted. Today’s appointment was different. I woke up very sick and called as soon as they opened and asked to reschedule. I was told that I would have to pay $150 cancellation fee for not letting them know 24 hours in advance and going forward any appointments would have to be prepaid before I could be seen in their office. I was not this sick 24 hours ago and when I realized how sick I was their office was closed for the evening so I called first thing this morning. I was bullied into keeping my appointment despite being sick. I explained that I was coughing, could not breathe, and sweating. It is unfair that the technician was forced to perform the procedure inside of my mouth knowing I was sick. When I voiced my concerns that I could make her sick and all of the other patients sick the doctor replied, “I’m trying to run a business here.” The only good thing about today was Katie who did my procedure. They do good work, but they do not care about the health and safety of their staff or other patients. I have spent thousands of dollars at his business. Do better mountaineer periodontics. Be kind to people

Overall, it was a pleasant experience from beginning to end. I was awake during the surgery and never felt a thing. Today, I barely remember any of it. The staff and Dr. McGheehee were courteous, warm, and caring. They made sure I was comfortable. I'd also like to comment that the office and procedure room were very clean!! No dust bunnies, the windowsills were free of dust, the baseboards were free of dust, and there was no "yuck" piled up or accumulated in the corners of the floor. Dr. McGheehee and his staff/office get 10 stars from me. Thank all of you there for making it a pleasant experience. I recommend him highly!!

My visit was very pleasant and professional. I was treated great by the staff and was well informed by Dr. McGehee for my path going forward.
