Kanawha City Pediatric Dentistry

I'm honestly baffled that there isn't at least one Negative Review. It's been a year or so. But my son's FIRST EVER visit there, the Main guy dentist looked at my terrified son with a absolute hateful attitude and said "your to old to be crying!!" Mind you I spoke with the receptionist when I made the appointment and put in his notes his terrified of the dentist cause he had to have a tooth pulled in the past. So maybe he is just Racist cause my kid is biracial. Cause all the reviews I seeing is how understanding he is. Well he certainly was not understanding to my child. I was disgusted.

This place is absolutely amazing with kids. My son is Autistic and so many places won't deal with him or just don't know what to do. The staff here has been so patient with him. They explain things to him. They don't push or force him to do things he doesn't want to do. They slowly earned his trust. This last visit, he finally let them scrape his teech and use the dental brush instead of a manual one. I cannot express how happy w are with the treatment he receives there. They have truly made him comfortable.

Dr. Don Skaff has performed regular checkups on both of my sons as well as dental surgery on both kids. Not only is he the best with the children, but his amazing personality puts nervous parents at ease. I would recommend him to anyone! We love them! Amazing staff!!

I’ve struggled to find the perfect fit for my kiddos for years so glad we found kanawha city pediatrics, we have been treated so kindly here! Going on 2 years and I have nothing but good things to say! 2 of my kids had surgery and I’m so pleased with how it went! My concerns and worries are always addressed and as a mom I always appreciate it! I highly recommend this place to ANYONE with kiddos! We live in roane county almost a hour away they have always been kind when we’ve had to reschedule, life with 4 kids is crazy sometimes and they are nothing but understanding! Wonderful bedside manners and my kids look forward to the every appointment! See y’all soon!

I recently took my son for a visit with Dr. Don. The staff were so accommodating and friendly. The hygienist was very patient and explained everything before she did it. Dr. Don had such a great bedside manner and put my son's anxiety about the visit at ease. He had a fantastic experience. And the receptionist was pleasant and helpful. All in all, I would highly recommend this practice.
