Dr. Jon Kardos

I had a really nice experience with Dr. Kardos as well as his staff. I'm autistic and really do not handle medical procedures well, especially dental ones. Doctor Kardos took this very seriously and gave me several options for how we could go about doing the surgery I needed while making me as comfortable as possible. Ultimately it was decided that general anesthesia was the best course of action for me given not only my anxiety, but the complexity of the work I needed done. Throughout this whole process, Doctor Kardos (as well as his staff) was nothing but courteous and respectful. He listened to my concerns and thoroughly explained everything that would be occurring with the surgery, including a quick recap just before the actual surgery itself. The surgery itself went amazing and Doctor Kardos done an excellent job, especially considering how messed up my mouth was (we're talking multiple teeth broken off to the gums and bone fragments lodged in random places). I highly recommend him for dental work.

I really thought that I was in good hands. It's been two weeks since my surgery and I'm still in agony. Now that the swelling has gone down some it looks like four different people worked on my mouth. It's in a horrible mess. I have exposed jaw bone and I'm having issues with infection. Not to mention that it's just a twisted mangled mess. There's a section of my upper jawbone missing on the right side! I've tried multiple times to contact them but they won't answer my calls. I truly feel like I was violated and then forgotten. I need help and it seems that they can't be bothered to help me.

Dr Kardos is absolutely AMAZING!! Hands down one of the best in WV. He is now located at CAMC facial surgery center at General. He did surgery on my child yesterday & everything couldn’t have went better! He’s knowledgeable, compassionate, and very helpful! Thank you so much! 100% recommend!

Doctor Kardos is the best provider I have come in contact with that is patient with special needs children/adults. He takes his time and really cares about his work. Him and his team at CAMC never disappoint with how kind and caring they are. If I could give 100 stars I would! :)

Horrible experience with this office, Dr. Kardos did NOT address the issue within his office. The Xray tech named Amy. We will not go back
