Spa Bliss

My friend and I booked a massage, facial, and sea mud body wrap at Spa Bliss for an early birthday celebration for me, and overall it was such a beautiful and relaxing experience. The two women who performed my services were absolutely amazing. Their energy was calm, positive, and intentional—you could truly feel that they wanted my day to be restorative and peaceful. The spa itself is gorgeous. It’s truly an experience just being there. I loved the robes and slippers they gave us to slip into while we were there. The atmosphere is calming, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed. Even when small things didn’t go perfectly, it never disrupted the overall peace of my day. Anyone that would leave this place feeling hateful is just a different type of person lol. One small piece of constructive feedback (and this is truly minor): the drinks offered in the waiting area were a bit bland compared to the rest of the experience. There were tea packets and honey with a kettle, which I was excited about because I love tea, but the water in the kettle was cold and the honey container was nearly empty—I couldn’t get a single drop out 😅 (honey can be difficult to pour). There was also cold water available on the other side of the table. This didn’t take away from my experience at all, but given how beautiful and immersive Spa Bliss is, it would be lovely to see individual honey packets (maybe Nate’s honey packets) or flavored electrolytes or herbal infusions in cute jars that guests could add to their water to elevate that part of the experience. Overall, Spa Bliss delivered exactly what I was hoping for—a peaceful, relaxing, and renewing day. The staff, the energy, and the environment were wonderful. I would absolutely return, I encourage everyone to check them out!

I have been going to spa bliss for years but based upon my experience Friday I will not go back. I booked 3 massages for me and my mom and sister. I booked a month or more in advance, and selected specific therapists for each of us. Without any communication, our therapists were changed and we weren’t aware until we were taken back to the therapy room. The therapists I requested online were there but the front desk girl said “we had to move some things around due to requests”. When I explained that I had REQUESTED specific therapists when I booked she said they have issues with their website and sometimes they don’t see requests - I don’t even believe this because I book online every time and never had this happen before. It’s just so maddening that all of the therapists I requested were there but 2 of the 3 were changed without even calling me and asking. I understand that things happen But I feel there is zero excuse for this. If something is going on with the schedule or a specific therapist and they need to make a change, they should call the client and let them decide what to do. I’m so angry and I will not go back. I really like a few of the truly good therapists there and will miss getting my massage bi-weekly but there are other great therapists in town and I will be moving on from Spa Bliss. Absolutely terrible experience.

I was having a tough time going through a difficult situation so I decided I needed a new haircut. I selected Spa Bliss because I have been here a few times for massages and had a really good experience. I wasn’t disappointed with the salon either. When I showed up to the appointment with Avery I explained to her the difficult time I was going through and she was so responsive and accommodating to help me get a better, newer look. She was prepared for the task. After talking about a few options she went right to work only stopping to discuss what would be best for the next stage be it a lower guard or a longer length on top. I let her decide as I was too unsure of what I even wanted. Just something better than what I was doing. It was a very therapeutic experience for me and rather emotional. I was quiet in the chair mostly, and I am rarely not talking. I am excited about the new look and hope to continue with the upgrades in other areas of my life also. This was the best first step for me. The building is gorgeous inside and out. It is more like an art gallery in the entire building as opposed to just the one floor. Not many places can you get a haircut and a massage and watch a game at the same time. Truly a unique experience in Charleston. Excited for my 3 week follow up. If you’re looking for an experience with your new doo, this is the place.

They have some of the best hair dresses in town. Also, great massage therapists. Have not tried their skin care yet but I'm sure when I do I will not be disappointed. You definitely need a reservation for any service

What I wanted then what I got Showed up to like 6 pictures and made sure to say keep length past chin let’s just say it’s above my chin and can’t even show pic of front it’s that bad. I didn’t want to post a review but bad hair cut can mess with your confidence. Plus if you can’t do the cut let a different stylist do it!
