Green Spa

Atmosphere is good. Calming music and friendly staff. Cleanliness is good. Everything looked welcoming, clean linens freshly laid out. Massage was not good at all. The woman doing my massage is clearly not a massage therapist. I think it could have been her first time. She put no pressure on me whatsoever and I pretty much felt like she was pushing me back and forth on the table. The massage consisted of her rubbing her forearms up my back, squeezing and grabbing my legs from foot to bum, and grabbing the back of my neck and pressing my face into the bed. I've had professional massage and student massages at my school, and I can tell the woman who massaged me is not a licensed massage therapist. No Way in hell. I laid on the bed and chuckled at most of what she was doing. I knew it must have looked hilarious because it felt comically bad. I wasted roughly $60 on a 30 minute "massage" and I will not be going back.

I am a ballroom dancer and instructor. I also teach strength training. I go to Green Spa as often as I can for foot detox and massage to keep my body healthy so that I can continue to help others learn to dance and to be strong.

Was there not long ago but I love this place. Been there a bunch over the past 5 years or more..They are always professional and they don't mind during if u say u want a massage softer or a little more harder for deep tissure...they are amazing and accommodate according every single time I've been..glad they are still around...best place I've been too around here

This place is closed. Charleston police searched premises. The owner has taken advantage of customers by inappropriate behavior both by dishonest pricing and other. I have walked by the establishment in years past when in town and I cannot forget the look on the owners face while he was rubbing a woman’s back looking at me! STRANGER DANGER. you should not have to worry about coming to these types of places as women. As for the person that bought a gift card and it would not be honored, check names online and compare before you purchase ANYTHING. THAT Is common sense. Lots of places have similar names sometimes by coincidence and sometimes not.

I was there last weekend for deep tissue massage. First impression wasn't that good because they don't have separate rooms, just panels between but is is ok. Guy who works there don't speak good English but you can find a way to explain him what you want and I was shocked how good he is. I have chronic back pain because of my job and I'm visiting massage spa's all around States, been so far at least 20 different places and this is probably the best one if you looking for deep tissue massage, I really want strong massage and usually I getting that done with walking on back, he's not doing that, he's just using hands because no need for it and experience is amazing. Very skilled, he never made to much pressure,simply he knows when is enough without telling him amazing
