On EVERY visit I've had, whether for consultation, or a surgical procedure , I've experienced exceptional courtesy and direction from his staff, and the very comforting demeanor and concern of Dr. Abel himself. If I could give Dr. Abel and his office a hundred stars, I would. Every single person who works for this amazing oral surgeon from his nurses MIA and Nicolle to the front desk people Chantel and Sam to is compassionate, professional, and knowledgeable. My husband has had a complicated cardiac history and was in dire need of dental surgery. Dr. Abel and his office worked closely with my husband’s cardiologist in successfully balancing two serious problems concerning his blood thinners—stroke and bleeding. When unexpected bleeding occurred, Dr. Abel and his fabulous nurse Nicole opened his surgery on a Saturday afternoon to redo the sutures. I was very upset and they were very busy, yet they found time to reassure and comfort me. Dr. Abel takes all of the time necessary to explain the situation thoroughly and simply. He has repeated information over and over to make sure I understood what was going on. I would recommend this office to anyone who needs dental surgery. Dr. Abel, his nurses, and office staff are simply the best.

The office staff are exceptionally helpful, patient, and courteous, answering questions clearly. The attending assistants were sensitive in assuring my comfort and were also very friendly. Dr. Abel himself is highly skilled, patient in answering detailed questions, and willing to spend time listening to my concerns. My regular dentist calls Dr. Abel the gold standard for surgeons. I was especially impressed and pleased to have follow-up calls from both Dr. Abel and office staff to make sure I was doing well after surgery. I never felt rushed when receiving these calls. I am very grateful for the excellent, professional, and caring treatment I received and highly recommend Dr. Abel and staff to anyone facing dental surgery, both for extraction and implants.
