Bare Medical Spa + Laser Center

I’ve been a loyal client at this medical spa for about five years, and overall I’ve had many wonderful experiences here. I’ve received several Botox treatments and laser hair removal services over the years, and the results have consistently been great. Whitney and Nicole are both lovely, knowledgeable, and truly make you feel comfortable and well cared for. The front desk team also deserves recognition — they are always warm, professional, and welcoming, which is a big part of why I kept coming back. Unfortunately, my recent experience with the new Fotona 4D laser treatment was not positive. I selected a setting that was below mid-range — not aggressive — expecting gradual improvement and minimal risk. When I say mid-range, it’s the setting below the mid line but not the mildest. Instead, the treatment left me with multiple scabbed areas that later turned into noticeable scar spots. I was very careful with aftercare and understood that the scabs needed to fall off naturally, yet some came off early despite my best efforts. What disappointed me most was that I was not adequately informed about the potential risk of scarring or prolonged hyperpigmentation, especially for someone with Asian skin, which tends to bruise and scar more easily and can retain dark spots for a long time. Had this risk been clearly discussed beforehand, I would have reconsidered or asked for a more conservative approach. When I raised my concerns afterward, I felt somewhat dismissed. The main recommendation was to purchase a 4% hydroquinone product sold in-office, which felt expensive and did not fully address my concerns, particularly when stronger options are readily available elsewhere. I left feeling unheard rather than supported. I still genuinely appreciate the staff and the many positive experiences I’ve had here over the years, which makes this review difficult to write. My hope is simply that future clients — especially those with melanin-rich or Asian skin types — receive more thorough counseling about risks and more empathetic follow-up care if complications occur.

First Dysport appointment and man was I nervous going in! Jennifer made the entire experience relaxing and explained everything to me so thoroughly my nerves quickly went away. She was excellent at recommending treatment but not pushy in what we should do that day. I cannot wait to see my results.

Nicole is a magician with Botox and fillers. With her discerning eye and unbeatable skill, she always makes me look better without looking overdone. She listens to my needs/wants and either agrees or professionally suggests that an alternative treatment might be better suited for the desired result (e.g., maybe a laser treatment instead of more filler). In all of the years I’ve been seeing her, I’ve never once left feeling like she didn’t achieve exactly what I was looking for. I’ve never been anything but thrilled with my results. Bare in general is the best… friendly front desk, gorgeous, clean and professional space. It’s the best medspa I’ve been to.
