Massage Journey

Genie’s massages always leave me feeling so much better then I did before walking into my appointment. I’ve gone to her for prenatal and postnatal massages and both times she set me up to be as comfortable and supported as possible, using props and pillows to comfortably and safely support all parts of my body (like a ever expanding belly, tenders breasts, etc). She is super professional, and clearly experienced and skilled and finding those sweet and tender spots that are calling for some extra love and healing.

I started seeing genie for pre natal massages around 28 week pregnant and I should have started sooner! Her body work has been the highlight of my week ever since. Her years of experience in birth work is parallel to none and I will be continuing to see her postpartum! Can’t recommend her enough. Beautiful relaxing space and free parking!

Genie is AMAZING!!!!! My first experience with her was for a prenatal massage. What drew me to her was her knowledge of prenatal massage and how to cater to the specific areas of the body strained by pregnancy. She took extra time to make sure I was comfortable and adjusted the pillows and supports as needed. The massage itself was phenomenal - I actually dozed off a time or two. I have never felt that relaxed during a massage and I was 7 months pregnant! I have seen Genie since my pregnancy and again...AMAZING. Each time, she asks if there are specific areas you would like her to concentrate on or areas you don't care about as much. At the end, she'll ask again if there is anything you would like done differently. She really cares about your experience and wants it to be the best possible. I will never see another masseuse again!! Thanks, Genie!

Genie is fantastic! Not only is she a wonderful person and so easy to talk to, she is such a skilled and knowledgeable massage therapist. I started seeing her for pre-natal massage & have continued to see her two years post baby. She really listens to your needs & tailors the massage accordingly. I would highly recommend her!

Genie is absolutely wonderful and truly professional with her massages. I had severe rib pain towards the end of my pregnancy and she not only accomodated me and was fabulous in her massages, but the person she is and the overally vibe around her was relaxing and easing. A massage is a very vulnerable experience especially when you're pregnant and Genie makes that experience comfortable and relieving. I would recommend her a thousand times over, she also informed me of many other services and classes that were crucial for me as a first time mom. She truly makes the journey smooth and supported. Her massage room is simple and relaxing, with music and pillows placed exactly where they should be for a side lying massage. I would often fall asleep and felt comfortable enough to do so. Her dedication to maternal health is commendable.
