I finally decided to get my first tattoo and I’m so glad I found Julia and Brass & Briar!! Julia was super responsive, communicative, and easy to work with right from the start. Again, this being my first tattoo, Julia was so great with questions I had and figuring out placement, etc. Everyone else I interacted with at B&B was also lovely. Truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and I’ll definitely be back for more!

Alysa is amazing! She did such a great job, checked in on me, was quick + professional (gave me fidgets!!) and was just a joy to work with. It was my first tattoo and I could just rave about it and my experience with her forever!! Definitely would recommend 1000%!

Came in from NJ with my family (our 7month old son’s first trip to Maine!) and wanted to commemorate the trip with a tattoo of his footprints. This was a studio I’d been following and was hopeful for an appt. Was able to chat with Kara and we found time that worked. Everyone at the shop was smiling and friendly and Kara was so welcoming. We had a great time chatting while she worked (very efficiently at that!). Her creativity with the design was amazing and the tattoo exceeded my expectations. I love it! Kara is a gem and wonderful at her chosen profession. Check these guys out if you want a tattoo! Thanks, guys!

I had a wonderful experience getting tattooed by Alysa! She's very personable and professional. She took time to explain everything in detail, and did an amazing job with fine line work. I highly recommend getting a tattoo from her - not to mention the whole shop has a peaceful and welcoming vibe. Will be back again!

Nick Holes was amazing with my 12 years old as she got her very first piercing: lobes. He was very detailed in his explanation of what was happening and after care information as well as answering all her questions in detail. He was very patient and made sure she was comfortable. This same day, I had a tattoo designed and completed by Kara Munro. She was awesome and is very talented. She created an amazing design that I am very pleased with. She was detailed, attentive, and thorough. Overall a very good experience for both my daughter and I. I would definitely be a repeat customer!
