Broken Crow Collective

The artist I worked with was taking appointments at Broken Crow Collective while she was here from CA for the week. I found the space easily thanks to an IG reel that literally walked you through the entrance and up the stairs to their space on the second floor. Also the Tattoos this way sign didn't hurt! I was welcomed as soon as I entered and he let my artist know I had arrived. I waited in their lobby only a few moments while she sanitized the space from the previous appointment. I was worried about being cold but the temp was great and the music kept my relaxed during my appointment. A great first experience.

I am an Australian, visiting Portland for the holidays... I walked into this gem of a place on the way back from lunch a few weeks ago. I had no intention of getting a tattoo. I was simply curious. Rolo walked out to meet me and we had a little chat. To say that he made me feel extremely comfortable is an understatement. By the end of our conversation we had designed something which felt perfect for my first ever tattoo! A few weeks passed, and my partner came in with me for the big day. Rolo was sooooo patient with me. He not only allowed me to make some last minute changes, but the time he put into those changes, the colour and design variations and the guidance he showed me in regards to where the tattoo would go was extremely important to me. He never made me feel rushed, or pressured.. it was quite literally the best 'first' experience that I could have asked for. What a special man you are, Rolo... and what a special place this is. I loved the whole experience. Thank you, thank you and THANK YOU.

Three drunken sailors on a 30-year reunion stumbled in right before closing time, and instead of getting rushed out, we got welcomed in. What started as “let’s grab some ink” turned into way more than tattoos—it turned into laughs, stories, and memories we’ll carry just as long as the artwork. The crew here had the kind of vibe that makes you feel like old friends instantly. We had a blast, bullshitted long after the needles were put away, and left with both ink and a night we’ll be talking about at the next reunion. Broken Crow isn’t just a shop, it’s an experience. Five tridents for sure from this crusty old sailor 🔱🔱🔱🔱🔱

My girlfriend and I go to tyler we have now gotten 7 tattoos by him, he is quite literally the best in his line of work, professional, neat, quick, and just overall stunning. he’s done realism, fine line, and pointillism. and has exceeded our expectations by a mile. another not is when he is nearing the end of your tattoo he will wipe down and go over it and look many times just to be sure he gets it all filled and done, you can tell him tattooing is not just a job to him but his hobby, his passion and genuinely loves tattooing others and perfecting his craft absolutely amazing dude, 10/10 would reccomend!

Rolo has got to be the best tattoo artist in Portland!! He is such a genuine guy and really spends the time to listen to your ideas and get to know you!! He really cares and puts his all into his tattoos, as well as making sure he matches your design perfectly! Would highly highly recommend getting your tattoo from him if you are in Portland!!
