Dark Harbor Tattoo

My dad and I went to Dark Harbor South last weekend for tattoos. Our appointment was with Logan and he was excellent! He had great recommendations with placement and design and was also very fun to work with. We would absolutely go back!

I reached out on a Tuesday to inquire about walk ins during a weekend trip with a few ideas. I was connected with Jordyn who scheduled me for that Saturday afternoon. Jordyn did a fantastic job combining all my ideas into one tattoo. They made the whole experience so relaxing and did a gorgeous job. I’m so obsessed with it!! Highly recommend!

I jumped on the Valentine Bandit special because it’s part of Portland’s history that I absolutely adore AND a portion of the proceeds went to Maine Needs. Zakk was awesome and super easy to work with. This was a simple piece but he is a very talented dude and a real pro. The shop was immaculate! I can’t wait to get more work done soon.

I was pierced by Zasu and they were awesome to work with!! They made sure I was very informed about the process, the jewelry, and the aftercare, and they asked for consent throughout the whole process. I will definitely seek out Zasu again for future piercings!

I'm so glad I found this place (and Zakk especially!) I'd been looking for a reliable artist since I moved from NY and I was having trouble finding someone I meshed with who didn't vanish after doing one tattoo😅 Fortunately Zakk popped up at Dark Harbor (a studio I already loved)! The place is clean and everyone is super friendly/helpful. Giving thanks to the tattoo gods for this one! Lol
