In all of my experience of education in the Cosmetology field, this atmosphere was the right place for me! Janelle is a top notch educator! She is so patient and knowledgeable with so much support through the entire journey. Definitely something I would highly recommend if anyone is ever considering adding to their career path, and loves fast paced hands on learning, Inked Studio Academy with Janelle is a definite must recommendation! I feel so proud, excited and confident to go forward with the fundamentals I have obtained in the 4 amazing days here! 5/5.

Such a great experience! Janelle really takes the time to make sure she is teaching in a style that works best for us. I really appreciate that they keep the class size smaller for a more one on one experience. I would highly recommend this class for anyone looking into the permanent makeup industry. And knowing I always have Janelle and Inked academy with their continued support is super comforting!!

When I first signed up for this class, I was very apprehensive and almost forfeited my deposit. The thing about Janelle, and her team is they want to see you succeed! There isn’t a question that is dumb, there isn’t a mistake that isn’t fixable, and you never feel like you’re being a burden or annoying anyone! Walking out of the class, I found a new level of confidence, an excitement for this new skill, and the knowledge that if I have any questions I can always reach out. You don’t just do the class and never talk to them again. There is continuous help if you need it, and they’re more than willing to answer questions after it’s completed. Janelle has incredible skills, a gentle personality, and their ability to make you feel confident from the second your models lay on that table. Never once was I too scared because she was there every step of the way to answer every single question, and trust me- I ask a lot of questions. One of the best learning experiences I’ve endured, and if I could take the class again to do it over, I without a doubt would!

Going into class on Day 1 I had so many fears, concerns, reservations. Day 2 was overwhelming with info but mixed with excitement. I was feeling a lot more confident. Day 3 and 4 - Live models days! Full fear and recalling all that I had learned the previous days kept me moving forward.... all went well!! I actually knew it all and amazed myself!! Janelle is a great instructor. Very knowledgeable, and patient. Highly recommend this academy.
