Below you’ll see a post I made about this company at the time. I was very angry and I must say I wasn’t very fair. My main issue was with the billing department. In the below response, I should’ve included how I felt overall about the place. I want to say that Dr. Steele, the people that Work alongside her are wonderful. The girls were the sweetest, the dental assistance, the front desk receptionist they were all wonderful. The Dentist, herself was wonderful and accommodating. They did not deserve a one star because of one bad apple.. I’m not writing this out of getting any benefit. I’m writing this because my conscience cannot allow me to badger a whole office over a disagreement from one person.. This dentist office is actually a very nice place filled with a lot of loving people. There will always be someone that we just don’t get along with and I just happen to run into that person that day.. If you wanna know what happened keep reading then you will understand. I just got finished paying Off a bill that was owed to this Dental facility in the amount of $432. I received the bill in November put $100 down and try to get in touch with the manager who could make payment arrangements. now mind you this was after I had already spent $7000 out-of-pocket for various reasons so this last bill was a surprise. I fully intended to pay the bill because I do like this Dental facility. What I didn’t know is that by the time I went up there today I had a balance of $232 which I paid I tried to make an appointment and I was told that I was put on the do not return list. This has never in my life happened to me. I can’t believe that They put me on this list for this small amount of money after coming out of pocket for so much. Yes, I tried to pay on time being that I had no idea about this latest bill. I had to appear in person in order to use my care credit, which was hard to do from my job so it took me some time to get up there, but I did and pay it in full. I would’ve given this Dental place a high score because the young ladies were wonderful but their billing practices are awful. They didn’t even take the time to talk to me after paying them so if you don’t have any money or you’re struggling, do not go here they have awful billing practices. I work in case management at a facility that would never do this to someone if someone is paying on a bill we would never put them on the do not return list. We would only do that for people who don’t pay their bills at all.

I have medical problems that cause teeth problems. This dentist was knowledgeable and empathic to my issues. She really listened and came up with a realistic plan for me. The offices staff was excellent and there was no 40 minute wait. I loved this experience and I have never said that before.

I’ve recently experienced problems with my teeth and this place has helped greatly! They are always willing to get you in as soon as possible while still providing the highest of quality and a pleasant experience overall!! Thank you Gentle Touch!!!

I’m leaving this review to share a safety concern from my visit. During my appointment, I overheard staff conversations from other areas of the office due to the open ceiling design and sound carrying easily. Some of what I heard made me uncomfortable and raised concerns about how procedures were being done. During my own treatment, I noticed damage to a tooth that wasn’t there before. I can’t prove intent, and this was only one visit, but combined with what I overheard, the experience left me uneasy enough that I won’t be returning. I recommend others be cautious, ask questions during treatment, and consider getting a second opinion if anything feels off.

For new patients, they make you come in once for X-rays then come in a second time for an actual cleaning which is bizarre. I thought I was just being too harsh thinking that but my coworkers and family said I was definitely being scammed cause that’s not normal. But I stuck through it and went for the cleaning and my hygienist wasn’t friendly and judgmental when I’d answer her questions. Then at the end when the dentist usually comes to check for cavities, I was just sent home instead, even though there was one cavity noted on my X-rays. Overall just a strange experience, I usually enjoy dentist appointments but I won’t be coming back here which is unfortunate cause the facility is quite clean and the front desk people are super kind and helpful.
