I just attempted to schedule a new appointment. The woman I spoke to was unbelievably rude. She could not understand my health insurance and argued with my about the details that should be listed on my insurance card. She said she could not schedule my appointment without confirming if it was a PPO or HMO plan. I could have easily called my insurance company to confirm this but she was so rude I told her OK, thank you anyway. She then made a disgusted noise and hung up on me. People like that should not be working in customer service. I immediately called another practice and scheduled an appointment as a new patient with no problem. I definitely will not be going back to Premier.

I have had so many negative experiences with this practice, I don't know where to start. First, the only positive: their admin staff (call center and receptionists, especially the call center supervisor Jamie) were kind, responsive and generally helpful. The clinical staff (PAs, Medical Records) could not have been less helpful. I have a hearing impairment and I use an assistive microphone. The first PA I saw, Alexa McSorley, whipped into the room and talked so fast that, even with my microphone, I could not understand her. I left having no idea what she had said or recommended. So I went back and saw Stephanie Carlino. Her rate of speech was better, so I could understand her, but there were definitely no warm-and-fuzzies. I have a difficult-to-diagnose problem, and neither of them showed any curiosity about it. It felt like they were using a generic protocol, a checklist, rather than listening to me. I convinced Stephanie to do a biopsy of one of several areas on my body that have the problem. When it came back with no definitive diagnosis, her suggestions for treatment, such as they were, included a drug I had told her specifically and the practice in general that I am allergic to. So now, on top of feeling dismissed, I felt unsafe. I decided to get a 2nd opinion elsewhere. But their Medical Records department only accepts Release of Information forms by fax. Who has a fax in their home??? I certainly don't. I ended up having the 2nd doctor's office fax my form over to them. If you have a problem that doesn't fall into a neat diagnostic category, definitely don't go there. Save yourself the stress, time, and money you would be wasting. There is something seriously wrong when a medical office's admin staff is kinder than its clinical staff.

I had skin cancer that required Mohs surgery. I was referred to Premier Dermatology and Cosmetics for the procedure. Dr Conti was exceptional at removing the cancer, then Dr Hall performed the Cosmetics side and he was exceptional as well. They explained everything in full before, during and after. I had 2 of the best nurses I have ever had, a nurse named Mia, and Jenna. They were amazing, exceptional at everything. I have had a lot of surgeries in my life but these care givers were absolutely the best I've ever had. I thank them for the whole experience.

Katie always does a very through examination and has my best interest at heart. She has caught various types of skin cancer that have required additional MOHS Surgery every time she has decided to do a biopsy. I have recommended several people to her and they all have had a positive experience. Thank you Katie!

Dr. Hirokawa is excellent. Patient, listens, takes her time explaining and answering all questions, and has a great bedside manner. A true skin nerd, she'll find, get excited about, and explain everything on your skin and give you all the options for treatment if necessary. The practice was organized, clean, and I was seen on time.
