By Her Hand Tattoos

Kristin is amazing. I've been following her for a long time and when her partner reached out through Instagram I knew it was time to get something new but I was hesitant. When he sent me the build your own adventure I was hooked. I picked the plants, Kristin picked the artwork. I am absolutely obsessed with how it turned out. We had an amazing time talking and it was almost like I had known her the whole time I followed her! She's down to earth and a great person to talk to and listen. This tattoo is everything I could want and more. Thank you guys!! Hopefully at some point you can design my next tattoo!

Words can’t express how nice of an experience that my family and I had at By Her Hand tattoos. The shop was clean, and Kristen did AMAZING work and was very thorough. We had a blast chatting while she tattooed 4 of us. I really appreciate how personable and caring both Kristen and Jason are, and the whole process was easy. It felt natural and like home. We fully intend on going back to add more pieces. Do yourself a favor and check out her work, you won’t be disappointed. Could not recommend Kristen enough to anyone that asks! I got a beautiful full back piece from Kristen. Not only was she super professional, but we had the best time and conversation ever! When it got spicy, she let me adjust as many times as needed, take breaks, and worked around what I needed. My piece is absolutely beautiful. I highly, highly recommend Kristen to anyone looking for florals especially! She understands them in such a gorgeous way. Thanks again!!

Long review but I felt this place definitely deserved it. My experience was absolutely amazing! Both there had such a genuine sweet energy and were also incredibly funny. I got a small tattoo and was in and out within 45 minutes - including the set up and paperwork. And since it was so small when I booked my appointment they said I only had to pay the $100 deposit fee and nothing extra which in my experience is rare. They also send out reminders to ensure you don't forget. I also arrived about 20 minutes early and would've had no problem just sitting and waiting until my actual appointment time but they jumped right up and started setting everything up - even though she just finished a very big intricate tattoo on someone shortly before I arrived. Also everything came out of individual packages and was very sanitary. Another bonus is they have complimentary water, hot tea, and coffee! Most tattoo places I have been are normally dark, have loud music playing, and there's a bunch going on at once(nothing wrong with that!) but this place was just so serene and comfortable. They also have cute shirts with their name on it(which is also an amazing name - the place looks and feels just like how the name "By Her Hand" sounds) and I definitely have to go back to get one! I highly recommend for anyone looking to get a tattoo around the Wilmington area!

Amazing experience! Honestly I cannot overstate what a good experience this was. The shop is clean and quirky and cozy. Kristen's artwork is gorgeous and she was so generous and open about working together on the design. I sat for 6 hours and the whole time we chilled and talked or sang. The results are even better than I imagined.
