Stacy is an amazingggg hygienist who is super sweet and thorough! Received genuine and good care from her :D Gone here for yearrrsss and years and they get the job done and are friendly!

I had the best experience at the Holland Rd location. Dr. Z explained everything to me. I have never had a dentist that took the time to explain my options. His staff put me at ease right away. I highly recommend this location.

Update 04JUN25: Checked in early for an appointment and got seen when they were available, well before my appointment. Insanely stark contrast to Navy dental. I was told they’d be more localized with the anesthetic and let them know if I felt any pain so they could give more. No pain, super quick visit, and the novocaine numbness was gone within four hours as opposed to the usual “you’re worthless for the day”. Cannot overstate how great that is. 10/10, still highly recommend. Update 14MAY25: Michelle is an amazing hygienist and Dr. Z is heckin’ attentive. Still absolutely adoring the care from these folks! First visit to a dentist in twenty years. Well, first one outside the Navy. Shout out to Dr. Z, Wendy, and the rest of the staff. Very friendly and professional.

Sunny and Dr. Hooper are fantastic! I’ve never had a bad experience. I’m picky about my teeth and Sunny has always taken extra time to make my cleanings perfect. Dr. Hooper is a great personality and takes the time to have a personable conversation. Every person I’ve ever encountered at the office is so nice and accommodating. I highly recommend Gentle Dental!

Stay away from this place. The billing practices are abhorrent. In late 2023, I received surprise bills for services I had completed in 2021. The amounts they were charging me were in excess of what my insurance allowed. I was also charged for seeing a provider on visits where I just went for a cleaning and never even saw a dentist! The office would recommend services and then not tell me ahead of time that my insurance wouldn’t cover them. They did so many x-rays, racking up the bills and I didn’t realize that my insurance only allows them every so often….no one ever communicated that I would have to pay out of pocket for the things they recommended or told me I needed to have done. There have been several occasions where my family has been notified there is no dentist present, even thought the appointments were scheduled months in advance and there was time to change them should the office have made the effort. There is a high turnover here. You never know what doctor you might see (if you’re lucky enough to see one). Something is off with this whole practice. I was told I had a cavity that needed to be filled. This was my first cavity in 30 years. I regret not going elsewhere for a second opinion first. My daughter was also told she had a cavity that needed filled. She’s never had any in the past either. When we first started coming here in 2019 things were fine, but I went downhill quickly.
