NU Body Weight Loss & Aesthetics

I was a consistent patient for 13 months. Was very happy with the fast results, until there were no results. I requested I speak directly to the dr for my next visit to voice my concerns. 6 visits and still no direct contact from Dr N Mouzon. That was okay, the few NPs were friendly. 6-7 months I am stuck at the same weight, so, the NP suggests I get a B12 shot and guaranteed the following day I will not have to pay since it was a part of my appt. I was charged a substantial amount of money; charge for the appt with the NP and another full appt charge for the walk in B12 (that was supposed to be a part of my appt cost the day prior). I called and spoke to 5 different people over a span of two weeks.. who PROMISED they would call back with answers of fixing the problem. STILL NO DR MOUZON AVAILABLE. I called my insurance, they claimed companies have been scamming patients to receive more money bc they are protected by what they notate. Some of the young ladies are very unprofessional and not great at phlebotomy (had a bruise on my arm from the B12 shot for a week, she wiggled the needle in my arm. Clearly, no knowledge of pain). I am very disappointed in how the situations were handled and wish someone did a better job of communication.

Currently under review from Rudder & Mills for malpractice and patient abandonment. Unprofessional, rude unapologetic staff, unorganized, out sourced doctors, non- reliant, frequent schedule changes & inappropriate charges, in- health app not properly attended to, frequent changes in staff and medical personel over last 2 years, blood work related issues causing unnecessary ER visits, inability to keep up with proper documentation for weightloss plans & other medical needs for pharmacy and insurance plans, no diligence in returning phone calls or messages, forgets about patients in their office rooms for up to an hour while front desk is calling and unaware their client is actually in the office, poor management skills, unable to handle high client volume and very infrequently do you ever see your actual scheduled doctor. The list goes on. THIS IS NOT A GOOD PRACTICE. Please consider another health clinic that can properly manage your weighloss journey and other medical needs. 🙏

The staff at NU Body are very welcoming. Dr. Mouzon is very down to earth making every patient feel relaxed and comfortable with expressing all of your weight loss concerns. Her office also offers excellent skin care services for people with problematic skin. I was definitely pleased.

I started seeing Dr. Mouzon in Sept. I followed her instructions and I have lost 24lbs. She is very down to earth and talks to her patients to see what our goals are and overall just get to know you. She is very genuine and I enjoy having her as a dr. I definitely reccomend her to anyone struggling with weight loss as well as in need of mental health support.

I had a wonderful experience and received fantastic service at Nu Body weightloss and aesthetics!! I had a cosmetic procedure here and I was very please with the results. I even made another appointment before I left the office. Dr. Mouzon know what she was doing and took the time to explain to me in layman's term what was happening. She went above and beyond to achieve the best possible results!! I'll tell friends and family about my experience!!!
