Lux Dermatology

Overall, I had a very positive experience at LUX Dermatology. The medical staff was excellent—kind, professional, and genuinely attentive. They took very good care of me, explained everything clearly, and made sure I felt comfortable throughout my visit. The quality of care from the clinical team was outstanding and is the main reason I would recommend this practice. The only reason for the four-star rating is my interaction with the receptionist. While nothing was outright negative, the phone interaction and in-person check-in felt a bit short and less welcoming than I was hoping for. A warmer tone and friendlier demeanor would have made the experience feel more aligned with the high level of care provided by the rest of the staff. That said, LUX Dermatology is still a great office, and I truly appreciated the care I received. With a small improvement at the front desk, this would easily be a five-star experience.

In the world of seeing a Dermo locally and soon is pretty unheard of these days. We've lived in Reno all our lives and our favorite Dermo got consumed by the only-available-via-this-particular plan. I know why they do so (painful pill when you e settled into a practice you like and can count on). Some are less scrupulous than others (not making enough, so decline that plan permanently). It's ongoing LUX seems to have a fresh new outlook with fresh new young doctors that are pleasant and to the point 😊 If I were to say anything it would be the (buggy) way of communicating via the APP. You can absolutely NOT return their call without waiting a very long time. I eventually hung up. I did hear from the receptionist that they're working on all that 🙄. And she, probably doing her job to the best of ability feels offish. It could be me. She's pretty. I'm older. But I know my stuff. She was helpful regardless. 4 stars for this practice for sure ⭐️

I have made 2 appointments to try to get my daughter an appointment with them since her primary doctor had referred them . and again i get cancelled with no notices or curtesy calls or messages. They stated they called and stated it was a dead phone that is unbelievable i have given my work # and we also have an answering service if we can not pick up the phone. The lady who answered my call was very rude. I do not recommend this company and they are not friend or apologetic if there was an error somewhere to where my appointments were cancelled 2x. I would recommend calling another Dermatologist in town like Reno Tahoe Derm. they were so caring and understanding that they even apologize that LUX did that to me .

This office is absolutely terrible! I went there from a referral because I thought they would be better than the other place I went to. Boy was I wrong! These guys didn't even call me to let me know what the results of my biopsy were and when I called them I had to wait two days and didn't get a phone call but a text message, letting me know that I had a balance in their office and I need to pay it, so we communicated via text message. I went to get my copy of my bill for HSA purposes and asked again about the biopsy results because it had been over 2 weeks, I was informed that I didn't have anymore cancer. Then the gal told me that they don't call patients if it's benign! I could not believe my ears! You asked for a survey or a review you should be careful what you ask for and treat people better!

Roxanne is AMAZING!! Very skilled, know what she is doing and super Gentle with both her approach and Procedures!! Staff is great! Assistant Helena was very good!! Great job all from start to finish. HIGHLY Recommend!! David Gipe
