This was my first visit to massage envy. I am not sure if I was intentionally shorted or mislead, but the hour massage I purchased did not last an hour, the actual massage was about 35-40 minutes. Even though I checked in early, it seemed that the consultation and dressing time was counted towards part of the paid hour, which does not seem fair from the customer side of things. The massage was ok, not great. I was informed ahead of time that though I requested a firm massage, the therapist could only provide medium pressure, to which I still agreed. Then at the time of appointment the therapist mentioned they could only do light pressure as they were recovering from an injury, which made me uncomfortable to ask if even a bit more pressure could be added during the massage. That issue is mostly on me for agreeing to lighter pressure after being informed, but I was not expecting it to be so light, I really didn't feel any benefits when the appointment was over. I don't mean to slight the therapist specifically because again, I agreed to it, and they were very professional in all other aspects. It was just an even lighter massage than I was expecting, without opportunity to ask for more firmness. I would still consider trying here again with another therapist as the facility is clean, comfortable and professional, but I will still be wary of if I am getting the full value of the experience I am paying for or not. I won't hesitate to take business elsewhere if it happens again considering the other reviews mentioning similar issues.

Tammy was amazing. She’s professional, knowledgeable, and made me feel completely comfortable. I had a facial with the Fusion machine and left with my skin feeling incredibly clean and hydrated. Booked first available appointment with Massage Envy after a rough few days in the mountains. First available appointment was with Rosa at a location I hadn't visited yet. I've been using Massage Envy for about a decade in multiple states. I always found it to be consistent in terms of service, cleanliness, etc. Check-in was quick and I was directed to the waiting area. Rosa introduced herself and walked me back to the room. Immediately she was asking about areas I was interested in focusing on (standard procedure). When I explained to her that my whole body was sore from skiing, she sternly asked if I had any injuries. I told her my neck was sore, but aside from knee being actually injured no issues elsewhere. She Immediately jumped in and said she wouldn't work on any areas that could be injured because "she isnt getting sued". Fair enough, but the abruptness and rudeness in the way she spoke to me was unacceptable. My phone rang to which I rejected the call, and she immediately said that no phones are allowed and it must be turned off immediately. Thats a new one for me. When she was done barking demands and orders at me, I simply asked her if she was OK. With as much hostility as one could possibly muster, she snapped back saying she was fine and asked if I was OK. She left to allow me time to disrobe. At that point I left as well. I really needed this massage, but not at the expense of being treated rudely by a hostile employee. I cant speak much about the other staff at this location, but I've never had an experience like this at any other location. Truly horrible.

I signed up for the monthly service about 5 months ago and have been pleasantly surprised with the level of service I have experienced from both technicians and front desk staff. Whether it be time or the financial expense, my back has had issues for years that I haven’t been able to prioritize. Their NW location is centrally located for me, making it easy to get to inbetween juggling life. I find it best to book a week or more in advance to find slots that best suit my schedule but have also been lucky to sneak in a last minute appointment too. Sam has been wonderful; great technique/pressure, he is professional, listens and addresses my areas of concern(and finds all the others I didn’t know were there!). The commitment felt huge at the time of signing up, but I am very happy with my choice.
