There truly are not enough words to express my gratitude for Dr. Pollum and the entire team at St. Elmo. What makes this practice so special is not just the life changing dental care, it is the people. From the moment you walk through the door, you are welcomed with warmth and kindness. Every single staff member takes the time to get to know you for who you are. They ask about your family, your children, your work, your interests, and what matters most in your life. You are never treated like just another appointment on the schedule. You are treated like a person whose story matters. They show genuine compassion, love, and care in everything they do. They listen. They reassure. They explain. They make sure you feel comfortable and safe every step of the way. What can be a stressful experience in many places becomes calm, positive, and surprisingly easy here. The entire team works together to create an environment that feels welcoming and supportive. You can feel that they truly want to help. They prioritize not only your health, but your confidence and overall well being. Because of this amazing group of professionals, I have my health back, my confidence back, and my smile back. I will never use another dentist for myself or my family again. If you are looking for a dentist you can trust with your health and feel safe with, this is not the clinic. I came to this office for a wisdom tooth removal. After my initial consultation, the dentist recommended removing two teeth — a wisdom tooth and a molar with an infection — and scheduled an appointment. The procedure was scheduled for Monday, February 2. During the procedure, the dentist repeatedly moved between two teeth without completing either extraction. The anesthesia was insufficient, and despite multiple injections, I experienced significant pain. As a result of these attempts, my wisdom tooth was fractured, leaving roots in the gum and exposed canals. The dentist did not complete the procedure and left the room. I was then told by the assistant to seek care elsewhere. I was given no post-procedure instructions, no pain management guidance, and no follow-up appointment, despite being left in severe pain. After the appointment, I emailed the dentist to ask why teeth were being extracted in the presence of an active infection, why neither tooth was successfully removed, and why I was left in unbearable pain without any explanation. Instead of addressing these concerns, the dentist accused me of repeatedly grabbing his hands and interfering with his work. These accusations are not true. I touched the dentist’s hand once at the very beginning of the procedure as an involuntary reflex due to pain. After that, I did not touch him again, and he continued working for another 15–20 minutes. The tooth could not be extracted because it fractured during the attempt, not because I interfered. I did cry and make sounds during the procedure because I was in pain, which clearly upset the dentist. My husband was present in the room and witnessed the entire appointment. I later learned from another dentist that the infected tooth should not have been extracted without first treating the abscess. I am still dealing with pain as a result of this experience and do not recommend this clinic.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I cannot say enough amazing things about St. Elmo Dental. My husband came to them after dealing with severe tooth decay, broken teeth, and constant pain. At just 27 years old, he had visited multiple dental offices in the Chattanooga area and was told every single time that all of his teeth needed to be pulled and that dentures were his only option. Hearing that at such a young age was absolutely soul-crushing. Then we found St. Elmo Dental — and everything changed. From the very first visit, they told him that every tooth in his mouth could be saved. It would take time, dedication, and a lot of work, but they gave him hope when no one else did. With their support and coordination, we even traveled to Nashville for root canals, and St. Elmo Dental finished the work seamlessly once we returned. Today, I’m incredibly proud to say that my husband is confident, pain-free, and smiling again — something we honestly didn’t think was possible. St. Elmo Dental played a huge role in restoring not just his teeth, but his confidence and self-esteem. The front desk staff feels like family. We are always greeted with genuine smiles, and every question we’ve ever had is answered thoroughly and kindly. They truly go above and beyond to make sure you feel comfortable and cared for. The clinical team is just as amazing — patient, compassionate, and always making sure you feel safe and at ease during treatment. If you’re feeling hopeless about your dental health or have been told there are no options left, please go to St. Elmo Dental. They gave my husband his smile back, and we will forever be grateful.

Great dentist, great staff. Dr. Pollom is both skilled and personable. Alison is very sweet and made the process quick and easy. Great experience all around.

⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Just had an incredible experience here. The entire staff was welcoming, friendly, and made the whole visit feel easy. Dr. Jesse was amazing, super comforting, patient, and clear in explaining everything. You can tell he genuinely cares about his patients. Easily the best dental experience I’ve had. I paid out of pocket because I don’t have dental insurance and the price was very reasonable as well! Highly recommend!
