Beauty And The Brows

I usually do my brows myself and i always end up making them a little uneven, i decided to treat myself and get a brow wax done to hopefully get those even brows i wanted. I grew out my brows for so long to have ample room for change and was so excited for my appointment. I did some research and thought that beauty and the brows offer mapping services with the brow wax. I expected to have precise mapping to ensure my brows were even. The only “mapping” done was three (very quick) lines at the beginning of my brow, my arch, and the end. I didn’t even get to look at these lines, she just went straight in with the waxing. In the booking it also mentioned a “brief” consultation. I expected to get some questions asked on how i like my brows, how thick i want them, how arched, etc. There were no questions asked, again she just went right in. I didn’t even know what to expect until the waxing was done. she does the service at an angle and when i saw myself in the mirror she placed above me, i looked at myself at an angle as well. At the angle i was my brows were perfect! they looked amazing, a little thinner than what i would go for, but good. i asked for a tint since my brows are fairly light. It was fine, very dark but i know it fades over time. however it came off after like 2 days just washing my face like normal. Anyways when i actually looked at my brows straight on after leaving, they were horribly crooked. Way worse than i expected. my right brow was noticeably thinner than my left brow and the tail was also noticeably longer. The arches of my brows were no where near symmetrical. I obviously know not everything is perfect and to keep in mind that brows are “sisters” but no, my brows were distant cousins. I would definitely recommend asking questions and really looking at your brows in between. I think it could have easily been avoided had i done those two simple things and i would have been a lot happier. for now i’ll continue to fill them in to make them look symmetrical until they grow enough to try to make them even again.

I took a chance and I’m so glad I did! Allison did an amazing job on my brows. She was friendly and attentive, and I received compliments on them from everyone I met.

I have been trying to get in with April since September 2021 and finally got in last week! She stays busy and not accepting new clients because she’s that awesome. I’ve had my brows waxed and laminated before this, but didn’t have the best experience and had almost given up on the brow journey. April was personable and friendly and very skilled at her job. My brows are more like neighbors than sisters and she made them look almost like twins! 10/10

Started going to April over a year ago and have not only gained amazing brows, as well as new confidence, but a great friend! I now get compliments on my brows at least a couple times a week. April takes the time to talk to you and see what your preference is with your brows and shapes them to YOUR face so it’s not just some process she uses on every customer. Everyone at Beauty and the Brows are beyond sweet and very welcoming! I’ve been to both April and Allison and always come out with amazing brows. I highly recommend going to any and everyone that asks about my brows.

I went and got a Wax and Tint today by April! I’ve not had my eyebrows done professionally in about 3 years because i’ve always had a bad experience. However, I almost cried tears of joy after going to April! She is absolutely amazing and so sweet! Will 100% be returning she is awesome!!
