Dr. Tankersley at Brown Family Dentistry performed my tooth extraction today 12/02/2025, and I could not be more impressed. The tooth was in very poor condition, and I was concerned it might break apart during the procedure. During a previous visit, Dr. Tankersley had prescribed antibiotics to address the infection, and today was the scheduled extraction. As a retired engineer, I pay close attention to details—every move and every action. At 67 years old, I’ve had my share of dental work over the years, but this experience truly stood out. This was the absolute best dental work I’ve had in a long time. With just a few precise moves, Dr. Tankersley removed the tooth in the shortest time I’ve ever experienced. There was zero pain, no head jerking, and no uncomfortable pulling. I was genuinely stunned by the efficiency and precision. If I could give 10 stars, I would. Unfortunately, I’m limited to 5—but Dr. Tankersley deserves every one of them. Thank you. Mark Mnei

I've been going to Brown Family Dentistry since I was a teenager. It's now in a new location, and there are lots of new faces, but still the same great service. I'm always impressed with how they keep up with all the latest technology and procedures. This past week, I had a particularly great experience with a new dental hygienist, Adayzha. She was so professional, did an excellent job and kept me very comfortable and listened to my needs. Dr. Brown was charming and knowledgeable as always. Best Dental Office in the upstate! Office is super clean. Staff is very friendly and professional. Doctors are experienced and easy to talk to. They do not try to up sale you on everything. From the front receptionist to the hygienist to the dentist was a warm welcoming feeling. No pressure was applied but options were explained clearly and questions welcomed. The "welcome gift" was a pleasant surprise and appreciated very much. Thank you!

I like this group very much. They are friendly, professional and prompt. Have been seeing Dr Bowers for 3 years now and she's had to do a little work on replacement of some fillings, now that I've reached past 70 years old. Most recently I've seen Emily, I found her friendly and efficient. I will continue going to this practice.
