Advanced Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery

When I arrived I was not greeted and not given any instructions on any information I may have needed to provide. After about 15-20 minutes of waiting I’m finally asked for insurance information and to fill out medical history. Once I was brought to the back my doctor was extremely kind, very welcoming. I spent about 8 mins talking to her and the appointment was over. I was given a sheet to provide to the checkout desk where the 3 individuals there looked at me and decided to return their conversation for a few minutes as I waited in the hall. Once they completed their conversation one of the ladies held her hand out for my paper but said nothing more to me . Just told me my total, I had to ask where I could find my doctor’s recommendations and prescriptions that would be needed. She redirected me to the portal and told me to have a good day. This was not a pleasant experience. The doctor was amazing but the rest of the staff could definitely use some training

Long wait time. Quick person to doctor session. I would like the times to be switched. I want to be with doctor, PRN and nurses without feeling hurried. There is a rushed environment. Staff and doctors are excellent, extremely knowledgeable. I am happy with the treatments. I would give them a five but the wait time to get in to see someone is awful.

I had a cyst removed in the morning. The team was very personable and made me feel comfortable before, during and after the procedure. I appreciate them showing me everything and explaining with detail. Dr. Miller was great with me and his stitching is perfection! Thank you team for making me feel good while I was there and following up with me! My face is precious, and I trust them with it!

DO NOT come to this practice for ESTHETICIAN visits. I was a patient here for several years...got services done with Mrs Dee and this year she magically disappeared. There was no formal communication on this!! I called twice for an appointment and was told to go to Spartanburg for my chemical peels (1 am sure she's amazing, but I live closer to the Anderson area and not interested in making my appointment a road trip). After going through that, I finally got an appointment with this offices new esthetician. Well, I ended up waiting 45 MINUTES, just to be told "she didn't know she had an appointment with you". I have no words. I will not be coming back here or spending my hard-earned money at this practice again. This office needs HELP. It was clear no one knew what they were doing or even knew what was going on. It was extremely uncomfortable. They do not care about your time. These appointments are not covered by insurance so be cautious scheduling an appointment here, they will waste your time and act like it's their first day on the job. I will be searching for Dees new location ....

I've been seeing Chris Kallinger for years and he's a good doctor. However, the business practices of this office are questionable, at best. I went last week for my annual full-body skin check. My insurance fully covers this service so I was not expecting to pay anything. At checkout, I was told I owe $54 (and a little bit of change, can't remember the exact amount). I paid but thought I'll get with my insurance company and can get it refunded. I've learned that the dermatologist office should be submitting it as a preventative visit because that's exactly what it is. I called their billing department and was told they consider themselves a specialty office and they "don't do preventative". I don't care what they consider themselves but they absolutely do perform preventative care. A full-body skin check each year is preventative care. I've got my insurance company reaching out to request a refund but they shouldn't have to. They should do the right thing and code their patient visits correctly.
