Elements Massage

I was really looking forward to my massage appointment. My mom and I planned this as a spa day to celebrate her birthday, and we had been anticipating it for about a month. Unfortunately, my experience ended up being disappointing. When we arrived, I was informed that the aromatherapy massage I had been especially excited about would not be available because my therapist, Leslie, is allergic. I completely understand and respect that, but I do wish we had been informed in advance since that was something I was particularly looking forward to and felt would have enhanced my relaxation. Stephanie at the front desk was very kind and offered to substitute CBD instead, which I was happy to try. During the massage, we didn’t discuss pressure preferences beforehand. Throughout the session I had to ask several times for lighter pressure. While Leslie did adjust slightly, it still felt quite firm for me. After asking a few times, I started to feel like I might be being difficult, so I stopped mentioning it. Unfortunately, the pressure continued to feel uncomfortable, and it made it difficult for me to relax and fully enjoy the experience. After the massage I tried to stay positive and wondered if perhaps the deeper pressure was something my body needed. However, now that I’m home I’m feeling quite sore, and some areas are fairly painful. I’m hoping that discomfort will pass soon. Despite this experience, I still have faith in your clinic and the service you provide. I would certainly consider returning in the future and trying a session with a different therapist.

My message therapist, Brock was very knowledgeable about the muscles and parts of the body. He did a great job focusing on my most painful areas. It was very relaxing.

Elements has a professional staff and well trained and experienced therapists. The environment is quiet and they work with you to find the best therapist match for your needs.

First time there, not a great experience at all. My Therapist, Leslie did not show up till about 5 minutes before our session. My appointment was for 9 AM. I didn't physically lay on the table till about 9:15 AM. I was told to be there 15 minutes before my scheduled time. So that I can fill out the intake form. Now, I had filled-out the intake form online and expressed that I had had 4 surgeries in the last year. With the last surgery, being in April. Leslie was a little hesitant, but I kept telling her what areas to work on.And what areas not to work on And I even asked her in the lobby if she did not feel comfortable, it was fine. We can reschedule with someone else. She said no she was okay. We got back in the room like I said.I looked at the clock it was 9:15 until she actually touched me. Then, the whole time she kept asking questions about my surgery.And they were the same questions that we had talked about.In the lobby and I could not get comfortable at all. I've had many, many massages, and i've even had some massages after my previous surgeries.And I have never had anyone talk this much. So about thirty minutes in, I had had enough, and I told her that this was the worst massage.I had ever had she asked me if I wanted to end it.And I said, yeah, because at this point, it just wasn't worth my money. I did ask if I was going to get charged.And she said, no, probably not, I did go out.And talk, the receptionist told her what happened.She apologized, and she said she would talk to management, but I probably would not get charged. She had asked me if I wanted to go with someone else there.And I said, sure, I'll give him a second chance.And she had called me later in the day to set me up with someone, and she said that that session would be free. I said, well, what about this morning session? Am I going to get charged And she said, yeah, I'm getting charged the $79. I will say very unprofessional. On the therapist, part and on the owner's part, because what if I wouldn't have wanted to go back? What if I didn't want to give them a second chance? I basically paid $80 for a 30 minute Noncomfortable massage, so as of right now, I do not recommend this place. However, I will be giving them a second chance with another therapist, and if everything goes well, I will edit this post. But as of right now, I do not recommend Elements Massage.

I’ve been to a handful of therapists here. I took a star off because only one of them I prefer at this time. The one I prefer is very good though; perfect pressure, professional and perfect talking amount. The receptionist girls are super sweet as well! The other therapists I tried were either too hard, too gentle, or a little odd tbh. One, I felt exposed me a little too much during movement multiple times. I thought maybe it was just in my head until I read another review saying that too. She also kept pausing and removing her hands. I’d lay there for 30 sec to a minute unclear of the reason. Idk if it was meant for me to stretch or something or for her to have a break…? One kept spitting on me (not intentionally) when talking, several times, which was awkward and uncomfortable for me. I kept wanting to turn onto my stomach to avoid it :/ Overall, I try to be open minded to different styles. I’ve had a lot of massages over the last few years so I’m a bit picky I guess. I liked the pricing and location wasn’t too far from my house, so I kept trying different ones.
