Meghan and Kim are hands down the best duo of a hair and makeup team!!! If you are a bride they need to be your first call!! The entire team is incredible and the most genuine group of women you’ll find. They bought such a calming and supportive feeling to my wedding day. Everyone looked and felt incredible. Desiree will always have my heart for the way she sat with my husband’s grandmother (who is in a wheelchair). She had such patience and grace for her. I will never forget how confident my family and friends were because of this team. I am picky about hair and makeup and specifically used phrases like, “please don’t let me look like a founding father,” and “some blush, but not a lot of blush, but enough to be seen as blush.” They knocked it out of the park and completely nailed how I wanted to look for my wedding day, engagement portraits, bridal portraits, and my rehearsal dinner. I will forever be grateful for the times I got to spend with them as a bride and cannot wait for many more!!

Desiree is absolutely amazing at what she does! She did makeup for me and my girls on my wedding day, and everyone — myself included — was in love with her work. Not only is she incredibly talented, but she’s also one of the sweetest and most joyful people to be around. She made the whole morning so fun and relaxed! I 1000% recommend Desiree to anyone looking for someone who’s not only amazing at makeup but also so kind, easy to talk to, and truly a joy to work with.

I worked with Southern Couture for my wedding day, and they did a great job for myself, my maid of honor, moms of the bride, and mom of the groom. They were fun to work with and chat with all morning, and they did a great job being attentive to our preferences. I rarely wear make up, so they found the perfect blend of making me look beautiful, without making it feel like I had a ton of make up on. I would absolutely work with them again!

I would absolutely recommend Southern Couture Salon & Bridal Bar for wedding hair and makeup. They were super easy to communicate with, the trial was great, and the day of the wedding everything was perfect. Everyone’s hair and makeup turned out beautiful, and they were there on time and finished on time, it was great. We all got so many complements on our hair and makeup throughout the day, and it lasted all day! Kirsten did our makeup, and Kendall and Meghan did our hair. So happy with our experience!!

I wish I could give more than 5 stars for the experience I had at Southern Couture for my bridal hair and makeup. I appreciated the privacy of the spa lounge and all the smaller details that made me feel extra special on this special day. Sydney was so personable and nailed the curls I was looking for. Kirstin is truly such an artist, and her makeup application exceeded all of my expectations. My makeup still looked perfect after a few happy tears throughout the day.
