Prisma Health Ambulatory Infusion Center–Greenville

So I had an infusion at my neurologist at Patewood then had to come here for my last appointment. What a difference. At Patewood it was relaxing, skilled nurse did my IV quick and relatively painless for an IV anyways. So I was surprised and less than thrilled when I came for my infusion here and had to be poked 3x!! And this is with me having amazing veins. If I didn't need it I would have left. The nurse stabbed me 2x ( and when I say stabbed I mean just like that, like there should have been an assault charge for how bad she did me) Im not dramatic with those things but when I say I screamed so loud in pain, everyone heard it. My arm was very bruised after. Worst one I've EVER had. But that wasn't all.. after all that pain it wasn't working so she gave the typical excuses when they mess up 🙄. So she did it again. When the fluid went in it was hurting. She did it bad again. I give you 2 trys that's it. So she had to get someone else. Luckily they were skilled. Some of these staff need some brush up lessons. And she was not a young fresh looking person. I'm thinking these poor old people that go there, I don't know how they would handle that. Never again.. even if I have to drive 25 min to Patewood I will gladly to avoid that kind of pain ever again. Im traumatized 😳😬

I've visited this place several times and each of the staff members is very nice. They make sure you are comfortable and also engage in friendly conversation. I gave 4 stars due to the lack of empathy and compassion. I received word that a family member passed away so I called on July 3rd to see if there was any way that I could get seen at an earlier time. The woman who answered the phone seemed rushed. I explained to her what was going on and she rudely said that they were short-staffed due to the holiday and she couldn't help me with an appointment. I tried telling her that I have an appointment, I just need to see if I can get seen earlier the same day. She didn't say let me check on that so I'm assuming she didn't even look at the schedule, she just rushed and said Nope. I asked about the day before and she said the same thing. I told her thanks anyway and she said, " Yep and hung up the phone like she was in a rush. I've never experienced this before with this facility but it has left a bad taste in my mouth. I need the treatment but I want to be there with my family as we lay a loved one to rest.
