I recently switched my dental care to Dr. Eliassen after receiving a stellar referral and I’m so glad I did! While my previous dentist was fine, I started feeling uneasy about the amount of work being recommended (fillings, crowns, etc.) that didn’t seem urgent. I wanted a second opinion, and I’m grateful I found this office! The dental office atmosphere felt warm and welcoming—not cold or sterile like many dental offices. The entire staff was friendly and genuinely kind. Tammy helped get me set up as a new patient and was amazing. She made me feel very comfortable during my perio charting, which not all offices do. As someone with some gum recession, I really appreciated that they take this seriously and track it closely. Dr. Eliassen was so wonderful. She was thorough, patient, and generous with her time. She walked me through my x-rays, explained everything clearly, and even fixed an enamel chip I had (which fixed the cold sensitivity that I was experiencing). Overall, I had an excellent experience and for the first time in a while I’m actually looking forward to my next dental appointment. Highly recommend Dr. Eliassen and her amazing team!

I have been coming to IDA for almost 4 years. Firstly because it was so close to my house, then I learned how thorough and professional they are. Using the latest technology that I never experienced before. I felt in good hands when I had to have the most major dental work for the first time in my life. It was a long process but it ensured a successful end result. All the staff I've interacted with are helpful and nice. They have a calm and pleasant office environment that puts you at ease as well. Dr Hakes and her assistant took such good care to relieve me of my fears. I have TMJ and yet everything was quick and painless. Dr Hakes replaced my crown using the newest technology. I was amazed. Many thanks!

Dr. Elliasen is an absolute gem. My daughter lost a filling and couldn’t get in to our normal dentist before spring break. Dr. Elliasen was sooo good to her, and put her completely at ease (she’s 6). Was the best dentist visit to date, her tooth was fixed beautifully, and the experience was 10+. The office staff were super kind and helpful too. We will be back!
