$15 back messages for 10 minutes removed my all back pain on chair. Not bad

Checked out Orient Spa in Wicker Park for a 60-min Swedish massage—ran me about $70. The therapist was friendly, but the pressure was inconsistent and the session felt a bit rushed. The room was clean, but the ambiance wasn't as relaxing as I'd hoped. Decent spot if you're in a pinch, but not my go-to for unwinding.

Avoid this place at all costs. I had a deeply disappointing experience at this massage facility. My husband booked an appointment for me as a thoughtful gesture after a performance, but the session left me in considerable pain. The therapist was excessively rough, including rubbing my spine, which I don’t think is safe. It feels like I was injured. Most licensed massage therapists avoid direct pressure on the spine, and if they do touch it, it’s with minimal depth or pressure. I don’t want to hear that deep tissue massage is supposed to hurt—this was beyond that. I am still dealing with the aftermath, relying on painkillers for relief. If my condition doesn’t improve, I may need to seek medical and possibly legal assistance. Additionally, the therapist insisted on a tip after the service, which felt inappropriate given the circumstances. The overall atmosphere was unpleasant, and the staff member present was quite rude. I cannot recommend this place based on my experience.

My mom and dad has such a horrible experience Saturday. Especially my dad since he's the one that got the message. Days prior, I went inside the location to verify about pricing. Idk if she was the owner but she showed me the small board with the prices 1hr $70 and she said hot stones and oil included. They went and they paid diffirent pricing from what I was told and the customer service skills was sub par. The lady who massages my dad asked him for tip. She was pushy about it too. My dad was kind enough to give her $ but no she wanted more and then they weren't allowed to sit down in the front while paying. The other lady, idk who she was opened the door and shoo my parents away. That's not right. Not professional. Poor customer service. Don't come here. We sure aren't

Wow I loved coming here! I’m surprised it doesn’t have more reviews. They’re pricing was great and the actual massage was AMAZING. My masseuse was Amy and she was so kind and made my back feel phenomenal! Like I’ve gone into the loop and spent way more money for another massage that wasn’t nearly as good!!
