The entire staff at Smile Essentials is absolutely fantastic! Everyone on the staff is incredibly knowledgeable, caring and welcoming. Many years ago I had a very traumatic experience which resulted in a root canal and crown on my front tooth. After that I avoided the dentist for too long. I am so grateful to have found a dentist that makes me feel safe and keeps my teeth healthy. I could not recommend more!

Dr. Kelly and Courtney are my primary providers at Smile Essentials and I'm so grateful to have found this office. I have VERY very high dental anxiety that's been exacerbated by another dental office that up and closed in the middle of the work I supposedly needed. I was having a lot of discomfort with one of the areas the previous dental office worked on and Dr. Kelly walked in as I was crying with Courtney (high anxiety about something being really wrong). Dr. Kelly comforted me and asked about where the anxiety stems from (short explanation: my parents passed due to medical neglect and malpractice and it's really challenging for me to entrust medical professionals with my body). Anyhow, Dr. Kelly did a really simple 'sanding down' of the area they worked on and that tooth feels 80% better (I can chew on that side now!). ALSO, I brought in some paperwork from my prior dentist office that closed and after my new patient appointment/exam, Dr. Kelly said she didn't feel I needed any of the work on my right side and that, as we work together, we can get the small things taken care of together... I nearly cried because I've been so stressed out about the other work 'I needed'.. This goes to show, not all dentistry practices are the same. At the other place, they were constantly upselling me products and 'stuff' to buy, capitalizing on my fear, insecurity and lack of dentistry knowledge. Thank you so much Dr. Kelly and Courtney for taking such delicate and honest care of me. I feel 'safe' in this office. The entire staff are so friendly and welcoming! SUPPORT WOMEN OWNED BUSINESSES! Also, Courtney made me a fidget ring with beads on it because she 'wanted me to be comfortable and to help with the anxiety' *tears*. Such a kind and thoughtful gesture. Thank you everyone!

Dr. Kittell's exceptional professionalism led me to a result I had never expected, but had been dreaming about for many years. After 3 years of treatment with aligners, I had only one cosmetic defect left in my front tooth, which had been operated on a couple of years ago, and there was also a crown on it, which gave the tooth a bluish tint. My previous dentist saw only one option - to install an implant. However, on the recommendation of my orthodontist, I consulted Dr. Kittell, who suggested doing composite bonding. And now, my gorgeous smile cannot leave anyone indifferent! I hope that soon I will get used to these endless compliments. Thank you very much Dr. Kittell!!! My gratitude knows no bounds!
