Dentistry of Nashville

I was a longtime patient of Dr. Vaughn before he left Dentistry of Nashville. After his departure, my experience with the practice unfortunately declined. I initially sought full sedation for a procedure but learned no one at the office performs it. I was referred to Iroquois Dentistry on Harding Pike, but after repeated rescheduling and other complications there, I returned to Dentistry of Nashville to avoid further delays. However, Dentistry of Nashville also rescheduled my appointment shortly before the procedure and requested another X-ray. By that point, I had already completed six to seven X-rays between the two offices, including a 3D scan at Iroquois. Due to the repeated scheduling issues and the referral that ultimately wasted significant time, I decided to seek care elsewhere. Communication with some administrative staff was difficult. Mr. Laura and Mr. Lisa were not accommodating and stated my only options were to reschedule again for another X-ray or find another dentist. During one call, Mr. Laura abruptly ended the conversation while I was asking about a deposit refund. Adam was also difficult to understand on the phone. Emily, the office manager, was the most professional person I interacted with and did attempt to help resolve some of the issues. However, the refund of my deposit took longer than expected because it could not be processed while she was away from the office. Additionally, based on my interactions with Mr. Laura and Mr. Lisa, I did not feel my gender identity as an LGBTQ+ patient was treated with the level of professionalism I expect from a healthcare provider. Inclusivity and respectful communication should be standard in medical settings. Due to the scheduling problems, administrative difficulties, and overall experience after Dr. Vaughn’s departure, my spouse and I ultimately decided to leave the practice.

These guys were so incredible, Dr Lambrick, his assistant & the reception staff were all so kind & compassionate. Eased concerns and answered all questions I had, as silly as they were. As someone who gets nervous going to the dentist, I can’t thank them enough for the way they handle themselves.

I had a problem with a tooth that needed attention right away. They were able to work me into the schedule quickly. Everyone was cheerful and professional. I am glad to be a patient at Dentistry of Nashville.

As an avid dentist hater - this is the only place I will show up to. Other places may have flashy furniture, TVs in the ceiling, branded swag bags, etc. but I don’t care about any of that. I want a gentle hygienist who meets my crippling anxiety with grace, and that’s exactly what Tristen does. I’ve been going here for years now and have never felt like they pushed services on me or dismissed my concerns. Just genuine people caring about your health, wellness, and teeth! Thankful for this crew.

I wanted to personally thank the entire staff at Dentistry of Nashville. I suffer from Vertigo and anxiety especially when having to be reclined at the Dentist office. I needed to have some minor cosmetic work done and my other dentist told me she had to lay me down completely flat. I read the reviews on Dentistry of Nashville and decided to call for a consultation. I first talked to Emily and explained my situation, and she was so reassuring and told me that she would note my request and booked for me a consultation with Dr. Mark Lambrick. I was pretty nervous on the day of my consultation and checked in, and everyone was so friendly. I waited to see Dr. Lambrick and met his Dental Assistant Lisa and immediately felt at ease. I was embarrassed at my request but Dr. Lambrick already was already aware of the request and told me it was not a problem to have me sit up the entire time. He was so friendly and personable. He didn’t make me feel like I was making an unusual request. I scheduled my appointment with Dr.Lambrick and his Dental Assistant Lisa were so kind, and warm. They put me at such ease right away and told me I could stop or take breaks at any time. Dr. Lambrick fixed two of my teeth alll while I was sitting up. We talked about flying as my husband is a pilot and he was just the kindest man as well as Lisa. We also laughed quite a bit! I didn’t need to take any breaks and was able to feel calm and have a great experience. I also scheduled another appointment for more cosmetic work. I can’t say enough about how wonderful my experience was with Dr. Lambrick and the entire staff. I will never return back to my other Dentist. This was the nicest and most compassionate group of people. A very big thank you to Dentistry of Nashville! If you go here you will never want to go to any other dentist as they care about people!
