Sunny Massage

They got me in quick! I've been dealing with persistent pain in my shoulders, upper back area. Called on a Tuesday night at 530, they were able to book me the same night at 7:00 for a 90 min table massage and a 30 min foot massage. They close at 9, so VERY grateful they were able to work til the last possible minute. A thorough, deep muscle (per my request) session that was so needed. I left there SO relaxed and with less shoulder/back pain and stiffness. I'll be back on the regular for maintenance!

If you're looking for a no-frills, affordable massage, this is your place! I've had a couple of massages here and the staff is kind and friendly. I noticed they also have the bars on the ceiling as well, I'm assuming if you want the masseuse to walk on your back? Anyway, the masseuse will get up on the table to really use their full body (nothing inappropriate!) but also they will communicate and ensure that they are applying the pressure that you want. I think my only critique is she spent a lot of time on my back and I wish she would have evened it out a bit to other parts of my body as well.

Update: Dropping from 2 stars, which was mainly so my brother-in-law wouldn’t feel bad, to 1. The days after the massage were very difficult, as the massage therapist yanking my underwear off without consent retraumatized me. I was shaken and deeply distressed, which overshadowed and borderline ruined my Christmas visit with my family. I have seen other reviews with complaints of the Sunmy massage therapists saying they took underwear off, and the owner consistently replies defensively, arguing that the events described never occurred. I would only recommend this inappropriate, victim-blaming establishment to someone I can’t stand. I’m pretty sure a massage therapist isn’t supposed to pull your underwear off. I had a massage today, and almost immediately, the therapist yanked my underwear way down below my butt (I was face-down). No one has done that in 20+ years I’ve been getting massages. I do not have a petite little butt; it was a deliberate, firm action. I said “WHOA” and pulled them back up. She said, “Sorry, sorry, here?” and moved the waist band around my hips. I don’t think at all it was a sexual advance; it just felt weird and inappropriate. The rest of the massage was pretty decent. Near the end, she asked me to turn over. She put a pillow under my head. I almost immdiately removed it and said “No thank you,” because it tipped my chin down into my chest and made my neck uncomfortable. She put it away and then went for my face with her massage-oil hands. I immediately stopped her and asked to just end the massage. She moved the blanket off my lower leg and seemed to want to do something there. I said, “Thank you, I’m done.” She kept saying “Five more minutes, five more minutes.” I repeated the “Thank you, I’m done” boundary a few times until she believed me. I appreciate them wanting me to get value for dollar, but at that point, I really just wanted her to stop touching me.

I believe this place is family ran. They have some the best people running it and give you great massage. Some people thinks if they go to a massage power, it's going to be about sex or touching. Private areas, I can tell you, this is the most carefully rent massage power. Yes, you can get all about in the sides. But they're very protective and will not touch you in that manner is a very clean and family ren. I've never had a bad massage there. And I've probably had 200. Over the course of 4 years, I'd highly recommend they have foot massages that they let you feet. Soak in some stuff and then they take their time and massage your feet. The bottom of your feet and around your toes are in and the massage tables is always very clean. It's always well kept. They do have couple massage tables or a man. And woman, or whoever can have massages? Can there be 2 masseuse people that will massage you? And they have, and will ask you if it's all right to do walking on your back. Some people enjoys it. And some people don't Like I said, it's very clean family orientated, and most of the time you can call and they will accept you within the next 30 minutes. If they're not busy again, very clean, run very innocent. No, hanky panky, straightforward. One of the best massage business I think of in Nashville, I've been to several. This is more professional pinpoint. The area that you're hurting in, and I always feel rejuvenated when I leave now. I'm 70 years old and I need to feel young. They try to help me turn back the clock. Do help me feel good, but it just if you want a clean, safe place to maybe let your wife go to there.And you can go with her cuz the need.They will not be any hanky.Thanking

I’ve had many massages all over the US and abroad, and this is in the top five. The massage therapists are well trained. They use ceiling bars to hold them up and use their feet to massage. If you want a real authentic massage, and feel the difference in your body, this is the place for you. I can’t recommend it enough.
