I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Barton and Nora. I was going through an extremely stressful/difficult time and the treatments changed my perception of the issues and allowed me to open up my thinking on new ways to handle the situations. I was so nervous going into my first meeting/first treatment with Dr. Barton. He was in no rush and took his time answering every question I had. He is extremely professional, knowledgeable and easy to talk to. I felt completely comfortable with him and the treatment once our meeting was over. Nora is the best nurse ever! She has a calming presence and makes you feel like you've known her forever. She takes her time with you after the treatments to go over anything you would like to discuss/ask. I so enjoyed talking with her and look forward to going back to see her and Dr. Barton again. Professional, friendly, comforting, knowledgeable and courteous. I will see you both again! I’ve dealt with depression most of my adult life. For the last year my medication was not working and we could not find a way to make it work. I was dealing with the worst depression of my life. One of the best experiences I have ever had! I have struggled with depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation and self harm for most of my life. Traditional therapies helped for awhile but never really stuck. Dr. Barton was very compassionate and spent a long time with me before treatment listening to my struggles and explaining the treatment. Sandi is amazing and brings extreme comfort and compassion. I responded very well to the two week treatment and it has changed my life. The experience has changed the way I process and think about things. Not only did the actual treatment help me but my life is considerably better due to the way I view life. I had started not even caring about my life and what happened to me and this treatment completely changed me. This experience has completely changed everything for me and I am so extremely grateful for that. I cannot even express how happy and fortunate I am to have found Dr. Barton and Sandi. This place has SAVED MY LIFE. Dr. Barton spent literally a few HOURS talking to me during the initial appointment trying to understand my situation, when I was fully expecting a rushed psychiatrist just wanting to get in and out as soon as possible. He went above and beyond with explaining every detail to me. Sandy, the nurse who provides the injections, is also INCREDIBLE. She is very skilled at what she does and is constantly checking on me during the injection and asking questions beforehand to provide better care. She is quite possibly the best nurse I have ever met. The environment of the office is also very nice. It feels like a home instead of an office. When I first envisioned what my appointment would be like, I imagined a sterile, dull, hospital-like environment, but the mood of the place is very relaxing and well kept! I feel so comfortable sharing what’s going on with both Dr. Barton and Sandy. Although I’ve been struggling very much recently, I know I have an upcoming appointment and am positive it will help me, so I have hope to get through where I am right now. I’ve tried so many medications and none help me as much as ketamine has. Now I’m able to live a normal life and I’ve actually experienced happiness at times since beginning ketamine treatments. My only wish is that this was covered by insurance so it could be more accessible to others. I will always be grateful for Nashville Ketamine and would recommend it to anyone.
